Join my outing adventure as we driving to the beautiful neighborhood of Celebration, FL and walk through Downtown to see what this community has to offer your family. I highlight a beautiful walking trail, a lake with Florida wildlife, a Sunday morning Farmer's market, some of our favorite local haunts. We also take a sneak peak drive past the beautiful new publix and shopping complex at the South end of World Drive as will as the original Celebration Publix at Water Tower and the shopping village there! We even take a drive down the classic scene of 192!

- THINGS TO TAKE: Water, Great Sunscreen, Sun Hat are always great recommendations
- PARKING: Limited public and street parking

- ACTIVITY CONSIDERATIONS: This town center has many festivals and events throughout the year. It's always a good idea to check the website before you go!

Ok... I just want to thank you so much for making libraries an important thing to know about in a community! As a Librarian, I too often hear people say that they've never set foot in their public library because they don't read books. Libraries are so more than books! I love you guys! 🥰

Thx so much for this video! It bought back so many memories of driving to Celebration and walking around the town centre. I didn’t realise there was so much to it though so I’ll definitely explore more next time I’m over! I love the idea of these videos - you really give the feel for an area and are useful for ideas for driving around exploring on a non park day or for researching areas to maybe move to someday. Thank you for your comment. This is one of my favorite things about traveling, too. I like to find an off-the-path nature trail to explore as a pitstop for at least one a day for long days in the car. I'm hoping to find a lot more here, too.

There are a couple Walmarts near Disney. I'll have to see if I can get brave enough to go in them. lol. I have lots of plans of shopping, but I have to be very careful shopping with Liam as he is quite the busy shopper. I'm hoping to do some very fun things this summer.

Missed the premiere. 😢 But watched the replay. When I was down there in January my family stayed at a vacation home in Windsor Hills. Loved that location. We went to mass at Corpus Christi in Celebration - a lovely church. That was the first time I drove through Celebration. Such a beautiful community. I would love to see a video that is an overview of the different neighborhoods and their locations with pros/cons of living in each neighborhood... might be something that you would have to do using a computer screen with a map...😊 Just a thought. Thanks for the content!

Can I suggest something for a future video? As someone from the UK who has often thought of moving to Orlando, something that would be interesting would be the things to consider when looking at a home in Central Florida. That would include the different areas and there pros and cons but also things that tend to be different in different countries. The different costs of home ownership such as land tax, state tax, etc the taxes and insurance you take for granted but overseas people may not be aware of. A series like that would be great! Really loving the videos so far! 😊

Thank you for this comment! I definitely have some ideas on how to cover some of these and I've made a list of your suggestions. There are so many costs associated in owning a home in the US. The differences in owning a home versus a row/townhouse or a condo is a significant discussion. I know enough about these topics to ask some questions, but not to answer them. lol. I'm hoping to be able to network with other agents and professionals that can answer a lot of these questions and really dig in to some of these. Thank you!

We have lived here nearly 15 years. That is the largest one I have seen in person! It scares me a lot more to be with Liam around the water as he is still very small. And I don't do water sports in water where I can't see the bottom or smell the chlorine. lol. Everywhere has their dangers. In the west is wild fire, earthquakes and rattle snakes, in the midwest, it's tornadoes, earthquakes, snakes and spiders. lol. Here it's Hurricanes, gators and traffic. lol. - Stef

Love the context! Are playgrounds just for the residents of the neighborhood common down there in HOA areas? We live in Illinois and I don’t think I’ve seen that before. Interesting!

Yes. It is very common. Although I have not seen them quite as locked down as this one. The celebration residents take if very seriously not to let outsiders in. I understand that they are paying for them, but if they are going to host events, the city needs either public bathrooms or some kind of compensation for the business owners to allow more public access to their resources. I'm hoping to feature more of the public parks as I find them, so that people know some options.
