I think you’re right about Myka of course but I also believe people are over mommy vloggers becoming the new infomercials. I used to watch some like Britneyandbaby while I would fold laundry during my kids naps and feel like I could relate but then it seemed like brands got a hold of them and their content changed to more edited content to appeal to brands.

Love to see a Mother’s Day special about good moms! I’m a mom of two girls, and I don’t even post their faces online… I posted my oldest’s face twice - her birth announcement and my first Mother’s Day… but ever since then it’s just back of the head/no face photos. My husband and I agree on every photo before it’s posted. It’s not that hard to keep your kids safe 🤷🏻‍♀️

Josh, you did a really good job with this video. Your message was clear and informative, and you did a good job showing how she was contradicting herself and therefore kind of condescending her own audience. Also, your humor was on point, and I am so here for seeing more of your "phone convos" via pineapple. 🤣 I always appreciate you doing the whole deep breath thing at the end. Despite the humor, they are heavy topics and need more awareness.

I can’t imagine being a kid and not feeling well/being scared about a medical procedure and my parent is sitting there recording it to share with the world.

She makes in a month what my husband and I make in a year (we make more than 20k but NOT much more) But it's just insane! Saying "we make ends meet" that is the understatement of the month!!! They are VERY comfortable!!!

Weird how her moms trying to get in touch with you, she didn’t even raise talia, she left her kids with their dad and her older sister pretty much helped raise her.

I literally stopped this and went and smacked my husband’s butt (or lack thereof) when you said that, because my husband showed me that not all dads expect mom to deal with the house and the kids and have dinner on the table when he gets home. He enjoys when I’m able to when he is working full time and I am not, but on days when I’m struggling he grabs a spatula, smacks my butt, and says how can I help make it easier for you, babe? He does laundry, loads dishwasher, makes sure our vehicles stay cleaned out, and he takes care of our children all the time, if I need or want to go somewhere, i don’t have to wonder if he’s going to want to watch them or not, it’s just second nature. We BOTH put in 100% for our babies. I do thank him often, but thanks for reminding me to today, because right now we’re struggling through potty training our last little dude.

Omg… I am soooo tired of hearing how hard all these “mommy” vloggers work. They have NO idea how to work. They should do what they do and work a REAL job outside the home from 8 to 5 for REAL wages. I am a single grandma that runs a business and raise my 3 granddaughters. I work, raise them, take them to school, dance class, gymnastics, etc. We vacation together. Ugh, it just frustrates me. I struggle everyday doing the right thing. These women are clueless.

I have *NEVER* left my children except to go to my best friends wedding two hours away and we stayed the night. I don’t understand how they can constantly leave their kids, I really don’t.

These Family Vloggers act like they work so hard when they literally have nothing compared to those who work in medicine, there are medical professionals that have been working all through the pandemic without any days off and these clowns are constantly whining about how "hard their jobs are" throw me a damn bone

I was so sucked into family volgs when I was a new mom, 19, at home and up at nights, isolated and it made me less lonely BUT looking back it completely skewed my perception of parenthood and REALLY negativly impacted my mental health! Painting and influencing a false picture of motherhood is so dangerous, even when theyre being "real and raw" its not real! Keep up the good work!

What’s crazy is if you were to show another adult’s medical appt or disclose a bunch of private information to the general public it would be a HIPAA violation. But minors don’t have those same rights if it’s their parents posting the info 😡

My daughter is medically complex. She deserves her privacy. Saw a sign stating both (Turn your phone off.) Along with (No photos or videos) allowed! I told the imaging tech those should be in every medical facility, and enforced.

She said in her comments that it’s better for her to do this then take her kids to a daycare and let someone else raise them or something like that but bashing parents who work. I work, I’m a nursing student, and I care for my 4 month old. That statement was a huge slap in the face. I’m sure the burn survivor doctor has kids, is she saying they’re bad parents for taking them to a day care?!

Yes a child needs two loving parents. They are not always in the same home. I’m a single mum and have been for all of my son 26 years on this planet. I’ve been at times his dad because his dad at the time didn’t give a shit. My son is a hard working man who at times can work a 60 hour week as he works in removals. He became a daddy last June. He’s never been on benefits (uk) takes care of his girlfriend and his son. Yes I will take some of the credit for how he was raised as I worked during school hours and weekends when he was at his dad home. So while I agree with most of what you’ve said single mum can raise good hard working people.

Absolutely support your content, the reason I think there's such a commotion with people catching on to the mommy blogging community greed of money is because they're being called out to stop their bs and lies all for their greed. Let's also normalize that their content in my world or most of us is not the real "mom" experience! Just so much wow. You can vlog about anything you want and edit it to give off a sense of who you really are, but we really get to see the real you when you and Jessica are telling literal teenagers "Im So SoRrY fOr wHaT hApPeNeD iN yOUr LiFe FoR yOu To FeEl ThIs WaY" that was the literal lowest of low to say to a kid. I had a shitty childhood but if someone ever dared tell me that, I can only say that those girls were FAR too nice to you and Jessica in that moment and every moment after. My Husband is an amazing Dad to my son, he shows his love for both of us every day and shows that fatherhood is more than DNA. He is also a wonderful Husband too. Our life is difficult she to serious chronic health problems and disability but our little family is a safe, loving, supportive and happy place- even with very little money. I appreciate this so much more after very difficult previous relationships and a very difficult childhood. I'm loving the grammar corrections. These people don't appreciate how easy they have it!

It cracks me up when she say’s that she has shown her life for 7 years and has been honest but, it’s only 10 minutes a day. But she “works” sooooo hard, you just don’t understand how hard she works! She’s so excited when she wakes up just to create. Well, what happened from the time she got up, during the 10 minutes we see and her going to bed that we missed the creative part? Making your kids perform to make money to pay your bills isn’t being creative. Putting the weight on your baby’s shoulders to pay your bills is disgusting. A kid can’t have a RU-vid channel till the age of 13 so they shouldn’t be the main content of the parents who don’t work. No child should be on any videos on YT or any other platform to make money for the parents. I have a ton of videos I made on 8 mm tapes with a camcorder of my family. I have my kids school performances, sports, graduation, family reunions and so on. I would never put any of it on SM for all to see. I do have pictures of my girls and my grandkids on SM but only people I have on my lists can see what I have. I seen a video the other day showing a girl around the age of 7, it was about how her parents took her privacy away from her by showing everything about her to the world. It’s on RU-vid I think. I’ll find it and post the link. Unless the kid is 18 and over, the parents shouldn’t be able too profit off the kids, when the parents don’t work but use the lives of their children to make money it should be illegal. If your child can’t legally get a job, don’t make them make money for you to pay your bills.

We had an influencer in the UK say something similar during the pandemic. She went swanning off to Dubai when others were in lockdown claiming the holiday was "work". When the public rightly called her out for partying whilst people were dying she claimed that she was doing a public service to make the British public feel better and improve society's mental health by showing us lovely photos of beautiful people, beautiful food and beautiful places. She was giving them hope and was essentially doing a psychotherapist role to show life is going to be good. She even claimed she was a service worker like the NHS. Just insane delusions.

When I became a mother in 2020. I haven’t had a “break” at all. I’ve been with my daughter EVERYDAY since today. People have tried to invite me out places. But unless my daughter can come. I’m not going. She’s not even in daycare yet. Because I don’t trust anyone to watch her…. I’m married. (Separated now) but even when we lived together, he never did anything. I have no desire to go out partying. If I do “party” its by myself. Having a drink while my daughter is out for the night.

I used to be a revenue manager for a hotel chain & the trainer who trained me NAILED it in my head to NEVER say "hi guys" or " you guys" to the guests or anyone, for that matter. Hi Josh I agree with all that you say How can these mothers want everyone to see and hear all about their little children’s personal lives I remember getting embarrassed even when my mother would share positive things about me with others- ( for instance, if she was proud of my grades and shared how proud she was of me -with her friend) If she told or shared my personal life on the internet ! - I know she wouldn’t have done this, but if she did , I would be so so hurt Why can’t others see this Please, others, open your eyes and remember the information you share about your children today on the internet - will be seen by millions today , tomorrow, and years later And, it is definitely NOT seen only by good people ! I think my favorite thing about this channel is realizing how much money these people make. It just puts it all into perspective and you realize they really are doing it because the money is good and they don't care to face the consequences, even at the expense of their own family.

My dad's the best and my sister and I had an amazing childhood being raised by two loving and attentive parents. Some of my best memories of my life are my childhood ones. I'm super grateful to still be close to my parents and both of them are still together coming up on 38 years. Just gotta celebrate having a good family sometimes and amazing parents who will do anything for you. Even if they are not super rich but are working hard. They taught me that ethic of working hard and I'm grateful. Love my parents. ❤❤❤ (I don't have kids nor do I want any. I don’t know if I’d class her as a family vlogger but do correct me if I’m wrong but I enjoy this gathered nest, I think that’s the name, her children aren’t centre of the video they pop up here and there but it’s mainly just angie or husband and I enjoy that channel mainly for the home farm content really.
