Jessica went through phases where she hated her ginger hair so she kept dying it blonde, black, I believe there was brown.

From what I’ve seen, sometimes teen mom’s mature quickly… and then in their mid 20s or so, they decide that it’s their turn to be a “teenager”… because they didn’t get that chance. I had my daughter at 14 years old. I matured right away, did all the things I had to do, graduated, became a nurse. Now, I’m 25, married and my daughter will be adopted soon by her step dad, and I have two more children with my husband, I stay home/homeschool, and my husband provides fully for me to be able to do that for our family. It was not easy. I did not grow up with a wealthy family. There was drug addiction from my parents, manipulation, separation, I didn’t have many friends, my 1st daughter’s bio dad was a thief, drug addict, drug dealer, incarcerated multiple times & still is. I never desired to regress and go back to being a teenager or desired to start living a luxurious live (whatever that looks like😅). I would never advocate for teens to have sex and get pregnant. Brains aren’t even fully developed until around 25 years old… especially not in the way boys are being raised (& girls).

Okay, been since 3 minutes after your debut, and I am struggling to watch. Others have said this, but this is DRAKE. 2nd dad, first husband. I was surprised you didn't notice you had the wrong name when you see his name during her intro (yes, it was bad; she was like, 19). I used to watch them, so let's correct a few things here: Gabe was first. HS sweetheart, they broke up after Lilia was born. Drake came after, and she quickly got pregnant with the twins. Supposedly unplanned, but only they truly know. He always hated being on camera, and was very stilted. He preferred she film without him. They got married before the boys were born and moved into their first apartment. She was about halfway through her pregnancy when she found out he cheated, and she moved back in with her mom. They started divorce proceedings. He was present for the birth of the twins, and after, perhaps at her insistence, maybe his own, he started spending a lot of time at the house and even overnight, to help with the babies. They reconnected, and moved out again together. Jess agreed to this if he would go to counseling, which he refused to do the first time, saying it was 'stupid'. So yes, in this video, they are currently in counseling. It was stopping counseling that Jess cites as a reason their relationship went downhill again in the future. They have one more child together, Landon, and at first, it seemed all good. But mere weeks before she gives birth, he texts her and says he isn't coming home. When she gave birth a few weeks later, he was not present, and never seemed to really show up for Landon like he did with the twins. There are rumors Jess cheated, too, but again, who knows for sure. Shortly after this, Drake informs Jess that his new GF is pregnant. Chris came in when Landon was still young, I do believe under a year old. He is who Landon calls 'dad'. Initially, they were both sure they didn't want more kids, but later decided that to have one together, which is where Addi comes in. She finally felt done, and so Chris had a vasectomy. I stopped watching them due to a waning interest in family vlogging, getting busy, and then CV. And then I found your channel, and I have no plans of going back. That said, Jess was different when she was younger. I think money got to her, as it does for most people. I genuinely enjoyed her, once. Before I got that putting your kids online was dangerous. Oh, and the blonde is the dye, not the red. She's a redhead.

I think she was more mature when she was younger... Now, she's living like a spoiled teenager.

As someone who’s followed since before lilia was born, yes she dyed her hair often & yes she was more mature back then.

Jess is the result of parents who let her do whatever ever she wanted because they were always 'best friends'. So she fell into bed with anyone and her Mother was all, That's great Sweetie! Also if my daughter brought Drake home, I'd be telling her that I think this guy is super bad news. Not letting them shag in the same house.

I had my kids at 17, 18, and 22. Right after my second I definitely went through some sort of “phase” of realizing what I missed out on. I never got to hang out with with friends, go to party’s, the bar, and the few friends I had stopped talking to me because I couldn’t see them twice a week like they wanted. It was HARD. I started to resent my kids and my fiancé(this is really hard to admit). I was also suffering with severe postpartum depression. There was a point in time where I felt like ending my life. I hated my life and hated myself even more for feeling that way…I was 18 with two kids. I went to therapy, started medication, and my fiancé and myself worked really hard on ourselves. We fell in love again-but with the adult version of ourselves, not the kids that we were before. I’m 23 now and we added another little boy to the mix but we are just so freaking happy. Having kids when you’re not ready as a teen is SO hard. It nearly killed me and destroyed our family. I hope my kids don’t follow in our footsteps(although we’d support them), it’s just so hard. Part of me still grieves the teenage me I never really got to be but I’ve also accepted it now which is something that is really difficult to do!

I think that she acts less mature now because she doesn’t have to be the sole care taker of such little kids anymore, they’re older and have more independent and Chris is more of a co parent than drake.

I was 20 with my oldest, but I didn’t have much of a social life before he was born anyway. It’s tough and I did burden my life in ways that most people my age didn’t have to deal with. I went through my phase when he was a baby as much as I hate to admit it and got pregnant with his half brother just a year and a half later. Married his father and got divorced after realizing real quick that no, you don’t need to stay with someone who won’t participate in a relationship or marriage. It’s a serious commitment. That’s part of my past now and unfortunately I did it with children. I say all of that to say I just want my boys to beat teen pregnancy and learn about what they want from a partner before they settle down. Don’t do this! Coming from someone who did 🤷🏻‍♀️

When you mentioned that everyone knows that one person that is attracted to the most toxic people and has an on and off relationship. That reminds me of my Best Friend, she was with a guy for 8-9 years, on and off. Whenever they broke up he would get really violent and break things. I never fully supported the relationship, but was there for her and didn’t talk down about him. A couple years after they had a kid together she left him for good and it’s now been 3 years since she left him, and hasn’t looked back. I’m so proud of who she has become and how strong she is as a single mother.

I miss that store so much but slightly less now that I know Jess used to shop there. We don't even have malls here anymore.
