My heart breaks for that little girl who probably thinks she’s having a great time making videos with her mommy, only to find these (or heaven forbid mean kids at school) down the road when she’s a teenager and realize she was being made fun of by the one person who was supposed to protect her from such things.

My son wasn’t planned but I always called him my surprise! We didn’t try to get pregnant but we also did not try not to either. He is 14 now and it was one of the greatest surprises ever.

I’m so ashamed to publicly state this, but I figure it may help someone else feel better if they were a teen parent. I 100% planned my baby as a teenager and gave birth to him at barely 18. Teen Mom was my favorite show before I got pregnant, and all I saw was the good moms having good moments and the bad moms being bad. In my mind, it definitely glamorized having a baby, making it seem like they make you feel so much happier when you don’t really have anyone else. Teen Mom is the worst show ever! I have regretted my decision to this day. I have 4 children now, and I guarantee statistically I probably wouldn’t have that many had I gone down the right path. It’s easy to stay in the statistic once you finally fall into it. Do not get pregnant as a teen! Do not get pregnant period until you think about 18 years ahead and then some. I didn’t think 18 years ahead. My children pay the price for that everyday, but I have never stopped trying for them and one day, we will be comfortable and not have to worry about finances and such. My point, I can’t attest that teen mom first hand influenced me to get pregnant. I made my choice, but they sealed the deal for me.

Poor girl. I was in my twenties when my father told me “I never wanted kids, and then after we had you I sure as hell didn’t want any more.” They went on to have 4 more spread out over 20 years. Can’t tell you how much it hurts to hear your parent say they not only didn’t want you but because of you we never wanted your siblings.

I am a second child, and when I was 9-12 my mom used to tell me "your father didn't want this pregnancy, he wanted me to have an abortion". She said this not to hurt me, but to show what a bad person/father he was, especially when they would fight, she would try to put my brother and I against him. But all it did is ruin me. I've always felt less than, unworthy, unwanted, low-self-esteem, and not equal to my brother. I now know as adult that it is ok to not want unplanned child and even ok to discuss abortion within marriage but the trauma from my childhood has stuck and the damage has been done. Please don't tell your kids they were an accident, were unwanted or Plan B babies. (or maybe wait until they are adults).

When I was 15 my mom told me I was a 'mistake'. I can not begin to tell you how that messed me up. Out of all my siblings only my brother was 'planned' and trust me it showed in my mother's EVERYDAY actions.

She said that she and my dad didn't want kids at all, but got pregnant with me Apparently, my mom sobbed for weeks. It really affected me and my self-esteem. You're 100% right, Josh. I can’t believe I’m about to put this on the internet but here it is!!! I got pregnant at 17 on purpose but told my mom and stepdad it is an accident. About 4-5 years later our daughter was talking to my mother and told her we planned her!! My mom called me and said “we have to talk, I know the truth” I was so scared because I didn’t know what she was talking about. I was an “oops” baby and so was my sister. However my mom never called us that, she said we Surprise Blessings. 😂 I appreciate that she shared it with us without ever making us feel unwanted. She was taking birth control pills both times that she got pregnant, so it was good to have that kind of information when it came time to make my own bc choices. Anyway, it’s heart breaking that she makes these videos basically making fun of her daughter. And it’s really weird that she would film a STRANGER’S house and strangers on the road and post it for her own profit. I guess it’s JustJesssssss’ssss world and we’re all living in it.

i just wanted to say as an “oops” baby myself, it never affected me. i asked my mom if i was an accident or planned when i was probably 12 or 13, she told me “no, you were a surprise.” her doctor switched her birth control and that’s how i got here. it didn’t bother me then and doesn’t bother me now because i know my parents love me and were happy to have me even if they weren’t trying. 🤷🏻‍♀️ there’s nothing wrong with telling your kid they weren’t planned especially if they ask, as long as the deliverance isn’t “lol yeah we didn’t want you but we got stuck with you anyway”

I’m from an older generation (born in 1962). Growing up in a small town, there was a man that called himself “uh oh”. He was born when his parents were in their 50s and didn’t think making babies was possible anymore. It’s not the same as what Jess is doing here and when I saw this my heart broke for that sweet innocent child. Wrong! (There was also a man called “squirrel”. Never got the story on that one!).

Not sure about Disneyland but, Disney World parks have banned wagons for kids and had limited size for strollers.

This is why I checked in with my daughter regularly throughout high school about birth control and being safe. She is now in university and living independently with a friend. I don't judge people for having children early, but I feel for teen mums because they don't have as many options in terms of education and career options and it is hard to raise a child which you are still growing up yourself.

My mum told me that she cried when she found out she was pregnant with me, she told me said she tried everything to stop the pregnancy ( thanks mum). My birthday is soon on the queens birthday long weekend, back in the day it was skeleton staff so my dad delivered me due to lack of staff. I came out blue and still, I was given adrenaline to my heart after 5 min of resus. Just as they where going to call time of death I came back if they told her I would have disabilities due to the time with no oxygen. she said she felt so much guilt about it. I feel the worst part of it is that she told me. she could have kept it to herself. Although I was older when I found out 16 , it’s horrible knowing that your mum didn’t want you and tried to essentially get rid of you. I ended up with no major disabilities or health issues. I love my mum I just wish she had kept that to herself.

I planned my kid and had them right as I was turning 18. Not because of teen mom but because I had gotten pregnant on accident at 16, took plan b that failed and was terrified but I stepped up. I was working for everything I needed for baby, keeping the right kind of people around, put my health first, and my best friend who was the father got it together as well. We were gonna make it the best we could. I went to my 12 week anatomy scan to find my baby had stopped growing. It tore me apart. I was so ready to step up and be responsible, I grew to be excited and it all came crashing down on me. I threw out everything I could and refused the dnc because I couldn’t let go. I would sit in the tub for hours and cry about how unfair it was that I missed all these special moments like holding my baby’s hand for the first time, soothing them, about how It wasn’t fair that I never got to see their little face. I felt like I deserved that but my baby was just too small when I lost them. So almost 2 years later I thought having another baby would heal that hole and quite the opposite happened. The dad (who was planning this too) took off because of the gender. Once again I stepped up to my choices but it wasn’t the same. I started suffering mentally about what a disaster I created for my child and thought I could never keep the baby because it wasn’t fair. I kept the baby and never had another. We bonded immediately and have been glued together since but we definitely don’t have a perfect life. I’m over protective because I can’t bare losing another child and as my kid gets older I can’t help but feel like these are the moments their sibling deserved to have too. My child knows about the baby but I will never make them feel second to them or like they aren’t the best thing that ever happened to me. It’s hard but if anything, my kid is what pushes me to not live up to the stereotype of a young mom and I know one day soon my kid will have a life nobody expected me to give them. And I can only hope my child doesn’t take the same path but if they do I will be there 100% to make sure they have it easy and create an amazing life.

I agree with you on this,, I was a change of life baby and actually suppose to have been stillborn,, SURPRISE, I wasn't.. my mom always told me I was the best change she ever went through,, not once did she ever tell me nor did I ever hear her say that I was an oops or anything,, always "best change to ever happen to her" words can have an impact and it can be good or bad,, but when you don't think beyond your own selfish needs like her, (need to be center of attention) she doesn't even think about how that will make her child feel later in life..

Just for a little more context that youngest daughter who is in most of the tiktoks used to have a medical condition when she was a baby where she struggled to breathe while she slept and had an incident where she almost died from it. So instead of Jess making fun of her and putting her on a leash she should be grateful that her daughter is alive to this day.

As a whoops baby... For a long time I took that personal. I felt like I wasn't wanted or important to my family. It really messed with me (but my story goes kind of deeper than being a whoops). I was older (like college age) when I found out and I blamed myself for the terrible marriage my parents had, their divorce, a lot of stuff. Not anymore. God had a purpose for me and I've gotten through it.

I remember when I was young, my mom said in a joking manner to my grandfather, “why did I even have kids?” And that shit messed with my head bad through the rest of my childhood. Sure, once I matured as an adult, I was able to work through most the memories in my childhood, but that still doesn’t make up for how it affected me in my childhood. That goes for many memories. How do parents not see how things affect their children? even “little things” like jokes or sarcasm have a big impact on their psyche, mentality, behavior, everything

Honestly, wouldn’t it just be wise to lie and tell your children that they were planned and that you prepared for them. Telling your children that they were mistakes, that you initially didn’t want them, that you took plan B hoping to prevent the pregnancy, that you contemplated having an abortion, etc - all of that seems extremely cruel, and I feel like it causes trauma and insecurity for the child. It just isn’t okay. 💔

My parents got married in Dec of 94 and wanted to wait 2-3 years to have kids and ended up having my brother in Oct 95. They then wanted to wait like 3-5 years to have a second and I came in June of 97. My parents constantly tell us that we weren't unplanned but we just came earlier then expected so that they could love us for a lot longer then originally planned. I love the way they told us about it because it never made me feel less or unwanted.

The step children’s mom (so Chris’s Ex) was very vocal on Twitter when Chris and Jess got together about not wanting her children on camera. Drake (Jess’s Ex that she bashes) was very vocal about being uncomfortable putting their life on RU-vid. It’s jesss’s world and everyone who doesn’t support what she’s doing is a “bad person” in her eyes. It’s so blatantly narcissistic. I can’t have children and it’s truly one of the biggest heartbreaks of my life. It hurts my heart to see parents behaving like she does when there are so many who don’t get that privilege. I was a honeymoon baby. I’ve always known I was unplanned, but that I was a welcomed surprise and incredibly loved. I can’t imagine being told my mother attempted to stop my creation in this way.

To answer about the rain: where I live in SoCal (I’m more inland) we get **14 INCHES A YEAR**. Closer to the coast (& northern Cali) gets more. But I’m 2ish hours from Anaheim (where Disney is) & don’t get shit for rain. Most of SoCal does not.
