That sled looks great! I'm happy to hear that you guys were able to help Mike with the Pipes. We need to do a triple ride sometime, now that my 650 is back in action. We could have a meeting over some beers some night and figure it out.
Chubby chaser is a beautiful beast of a machine.... would love to ride that thing Ok who am I kidding I would love to ride any of those beautiful machines !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice work Mike
My 1997 Polaris Indy storm ... is the straight up Indy storm 800 ... 800 printed by Polaris on the seat near the snow flap ... it's that one ... it's hard to find... that one you have there is nice...
I have a '00 and '01 XCR 800's. Stretched one out to136" and I'm going to do the same with the '00. Love your sleds and thanks for all the video's; I've learned a lot from you. Thanks
Love you're channel.. love the sleds ..I've got 4 Polaris myself..2 twins and 2 triples and I so badly want to tare them apart and rebuild them one at a time so I know what I have.. and maybe pick up a few products the you've shown on your channel.. like the bag that sits on the top of the dash above the gages..that's handy to have.. take guys and I'm watching you from canada 🇨🇦
Well the ride was fantastic, asides from the connecting rod going about 1/4 mile from the truck. Was neat seeing you guys on the trail while I was being towed back 😅 3 fingers looks even better in person.
Great video Todd!!! But I got a question for ya if you don't mind answering, a guy has a 97 xlt that's always stubborn as all hell to get started but once she's going she runs like a top, what do you think would be causing the starting issue??
I think I watched all your videos of the triples. I have two 91 rxls and just picked up a 97 storm with a slp skid extension 136”. I checked the compression and reading 100 psi across the board. Should I open it up and re-ring it or run her?
I always ran my 99 xcr800 with the ignition switch on regular until I needed that extra juice. Just to be safe. Have over 10000 miles on it and never had to do any motor work. FYI I did a radar run with my 99xcr700 (had the 700 first). Full tank of 91 octane. First pull switch on regular 106 mph. 2nd pull switch on premium 111 mph.
must be nice to have your own water pump guy. I used to have trouble with those ultra pumps and the mechanics at the dealers did not have a clue. just told you to buy a new one.
Hey how’s it going? My father the other day gave me his 97 storm 800 triple. It’s been sitting since 2012 he got it in early 2000’s I’m wondering if you would have or know someone with parts for it? I’m in northern Michigan. Since he gave it to me my childhood sled I’ve been on edge about getting it going again and getting it fixed up. Need a seat new hood windshield and so on. I’m doing a full on restoration. Body and so on is solid. Any help will be very much appreciated. I’d love to get this sled fixed up and back to its original look and going again
@@toddclyne3493 not sure if this is ok. but im looking , for a two seater seat , for the 98 indy xlt 600 ltd. xtra 12 trac. for exchange or buy. the current seat is perfect condition thx. Todd.
@@coolmamaass I don't mind a comment like this. It's only when someone thinks this is where they can list their sled for sale. Then the comment goes by by 😂😂
I've got a 96 sks and it's got the long seat as well you can fit a whole gallon of oil into it. Lots of room for stuff awesome machine mine has over 11000 miles on it and still pretty minty
@@toddclyne3493 if you used the polaris decoder it doesn't work right i got a 98 xc 700 and it comes back as a 98 rmk 600 but there's no proof of it being a 136 or longer so also got it from the original owner.
@@josephzimmer5586 so your local dealer sold tons of the 97 storm rmk model sled? Each dealer only got a couple to sell. Interesting that your dealer got tons of them to sell🤔
