To dylan's Noah ark reference yes they kinda did lol. A lot ppl might not remember but season 1 was all about all the aliens that were caught by supergirl's mom and escaped on earth when the ship crashed

Yeah, all these "aliens" don't look like aliens. I was honestly thinking about the girl that will clearly be adopted by Kelly and Alex and being like, you're just a ripoff of the mutant girl with an extra ear on her face from Futurama, and you can't even do that right! Have a weird skin color, have some different hair, add a tail, do something! And then there are also the kid and his brother where if they use their powers too much, it hurts them. Uh, what kind of dumb power is that? Are they shorting out their own nervous systems with their EMP powers? Yeah, I've had seizures before, it's not a super power. And isn't Kelly some sort of scientist? What's she doing working for child protection services? Did she lose all credibility for helping make the virtual reality thing from last Season? And now she's becoming Gaurdian, like, they don't know what to do with her anymore, which means she should have just been in the background waiting for Alex to get back home from being a superfreak. I miss the days of it just being Supergirl trying to balance life at Catco, and getting dragged aside by the DEO, and then things just happened to work out because both problems coincided. Or just give Nia and Brainy the show and they can begin the Legion of Superheroes or something, everyone else and really just overstayed their welcome, even most of the main people the show started with.
8:36 only that but in the next season since Trump got elected they wanted to make a trump allegory talking about how the president is deporting people all the time even though Lynda Carter was still the president and she wasn't doing stuff like that and the universes didn't merge altogether so there was no way that could have ever been happening.
