Superman - LOIS discovers CLARK's secret identity [2] 

One lesser known power of Superman.... The Kryptonian Kiss.... Makes the receiver forget something of Superman's choosing. And yes this is a real ability he has. Only the Donner film used this but it's in the comics.

11:43… that scene always got me. Lois, understandably being upset cuz she didn’t know who Clark really was and just wanted to get to know him more. But when the mother tells the story on how Clark wanted to fit in and chose to keep his secret, that was loving. And how she felt relieved finally being able to talk to someone about who Clark really is.

"Are you cold? Uhm... Lois?" Lois of course had long since frozen to death.

It isn't in this vid, but Smallville Lois watching Clark being Superman through the plane window flying outside the plane. The happiness and pride on her face on watching Clark fulfill his promise to such a degree is so amazing and definitely one of the top Clark/Lois moments for me.

The Donner cut is just so good. That toothpaste moment is excellent.

12:35 is such a nice moment. Martha Kent was my favorite supporting character on that show.

I prefer the fireplace (Lester) reveal over the gun (Donner) reveal. The setting is better, it's subtle (no Lois shooting Clark) and the way Reeves changes from Clark to Superman watching from the back is just awesome. These movies also had the legendary score going for them in these scenes.

Thanks for including the Donner cut. When Superman II came out it seemed disjointed and Lois looks different in several shots. Then I learned about how the movie was reshot in sections by another director and patched together..

Rewinding time by making the earth spin the other way around... Yep, that's what movie plots were like in the 80's!

Nice compilation but there's one you missed. Adventures of Superman S4 E08 ("The Wedding of Superman" 1956). Noel Neill has a dream where George Reeves asks her to marry him. When she hesitates because of her feelings for Clark, he reveals that it's not an issue since he & Clark are one in the same.

"80% of women chase after 20% of men" is a RULE FOR A REASON ... but women arent the ones who are "at fault" or "in need of changing" ... oh no.

Funny...I never thought about it before but, all this made me realize how strongly Superboy's/Superman's story resembles every gay boy's story. And, of course, we always hoped he'd find someone to come out to. Guess I now know why I loved Superboy so much when I was a kid!
