Two things I loved about this: -The fact that Tal-Roh says he gives a shit about Earth, but loves his brother enough to fight to protect it. Really great and really accurate with the character. I like they're not going with the "now I'm all good and heroic" kind of redemption. -Jordan saved Tal-Roh from Ally but needed help with the landing. We can see how his uncle was the one who landed properly and Jordan, as he said, still has to learn how to do it. Also, I think they made the right choice when they confirmed this one is not Earth Prime.

I can actually remember reading something about supes age's ago, can't remember what issue it was, but apparently he was transported from earth to somewhere it was crazy and earth was in trouble and he was trying to make his way back, and he was flying from one solar system to another and every time he passed through one he flew straight through the it's sun and it just kept on supercharging him and he just got faster and stronger each time

Jordan has made such strides with his Super abilities has body slammed Ally into outer space to save his uncle Tal Rho. The confidence Jordan's dad Clark/Superman shows him in season 2 is heartwarming and thrilling to watch. For season 3 I am looking forward to Supermans computer generated mom finally meeting Jonathan I wonder what tech surprises she will enlighten Jonathan too?

Ok since I can’t find the scene and I’m sure we all have seen this finale. How the hell do they explain a powerless Clark being taken through the vacuum of space, chill out near the sun, and have small talk with Tal? I love the show but man that really threw me off, it was one of those “wait, what the”? moments.

If I had to guess it’s because maybe…. Yea idk the only explanation is the kryptonion aura (how Superman can touch people in super speed without them exploding) so maybe that’s how he could breath and talk and not burn up near the suns atmosphere which is around 10000 degrees, so his brothers aura helped him (in the comics Superman has an aura which is how he can fly super fast, run super fast without breaking everything around him)

The scene showed that he wasn't completely powerless but was prob still too weak. When he was near the sun he wasn't holding Tal rhos hand meaning he can fly. Alternatively. Clark even powerless is not human. Maybe Kryptonian can breathe in space

That is not how genes work. He is 50% kryptonian, just those genes appear to be dominant. Every child born is a toss up of which of the genes of their parents get "switched on" or "switched off". Jordan's kryptonian genes are switched on, so those alien/superman traits are showing up with him going through puberty. Jonathan's are switched off, his human genes are dominant. Although with his love of technology I suspect some of his kryptonian genes are switched on, as the House of El were scientists, and both Jor-El and Lara were scientists and inventors back on krypton.

I believe Kryptonians have an aura (bio-aura or something I don't remember the name) that protects them and the people they touch, so presumably it would also protect their clothes from burning while flying near the sun since it protects them when flying at high speed. That's why Superman can save people while they're falling, or lift a plane mid air.

@@quantommy Doesn't matter the color of the sun. Do all aliens, by default, breathe in space? Then Martians should too, why do they need bioship? Justice League and Superman series are inconsistent about Kryptonian species. They are normal terrestrials on their own and other alien planets. It's EARTH's qualities that make them super. Earth's gravitational pull is weaker which is why Zod tried to Terraform it in Man Of Steel, humans were going to get crushed by the normal gravity of Krypton.

My guess is if a healthy Kryptonian goes inside the sun, it might be too much for them, maybe even kill them. But since Clark had no powers, the extra power from the sun didn't harm him. It just restored his powers and gave him a juice.

Theres a superman story where clark absorbed too much radiation from the sun and was about to become pure energy... He ultimately jumped into the dying sun to use his nearly infinit energy to restart the sun and become one with it. Thats the start of superman prime.

Ally killed Bizarro Tal almost instantly, but hardly put a dent in "our" version other than taking away his ability to fly for a little bit. Or maybe she just stunned him. Either way, it's sloppy writing. Although not as sloppy as a depowered Clark being able to survive in space and be thrown into the sun. These things may play in comics, but they look really jarring with live actors.
