2 of the 6 wires (red and green) have snapped off one of the connectors to the battery due to rattle of the battery how may I go about fixing it, the snap is at the bottom of the wire very close to the plug
Long story short have a BAC4000 and a chi 72v battery. I neglected to switch off my breaker during charging. The bike turns on display turns on. Self diagnostic inside of the xion display say the controller is unable to register.. is there a fuse point I could check or a weak point that may have burned out. Replaced throttle.. not the issue. Replaced wiring harness.. not the issue.😢 any and all help would be much appreciated
can you repurpose stuff? for example I removed my horn but all the wiring still is there.... Can you add something different that is within spec? if so could you give an example of what you could do? It helps me a lot.. thanks
I bought my Surron 1 year and 1 month ago. The bike has 3500 miles on it and is bone stock electrical. I decided to drain the battery’s to 50% so i drained the first one down and when i plugged in the second one i forgot to turn off the circuit breaker which hasn’t been an issue in the past, but anyways as soon as i give it throttle nothing happens (right after i got done with the 80% battery) , but the display and lights are still working. So i took the motor and controller out to check if anything was severed and nothing is. Then i decide to take the motor apart to check for corrosion and found none checked the hall sensor pcb board hasn’t moved and looks brand new. The bike has been powering off inconsistently (meaning the motor hasn’t been running but the display and lights still work) I checked the BMS light blinks and it’s showing 6 blinks then it keeps repeating. It states on the code sheet I found online that there is a (motor hoare malfunction) and states to power the bike off and turn it on again. I’ve done that about 30 times and still doesn’t work. I Tore the bikes electronics out and inspected every wire and all of them are still intact. So i took the bike to my friends shop that services and sells surrons, tried a brand new controller with my motor and the motor moved for literally a split second and then nothing happened not even 1/16 rotation, then i try a brand new motor with my controller and nothing happens still shows the same code, then i try the new motor with the new controller and everything works. My question is has anyone had this same issue, has anyone fixed their issue, and is it a programming issue or did it fry a component in the circuitry. Any suggestions would help out. We had almost the same problem, disconnected all the safety switches, checked the wiring, open the motor, no corrosion and no apparent issues. Bike display okay and tried two batteries, same occasional run then died. Disconnected the 12 volt inverter, replaced the throttle unit, still nothing. Checked the circuit breaker, was okay. Looking at trying new motor and controller now.
Man I've watched your video at least 8 times, thanks! I have successfully wired a fardriver but I can't get the rear light to work when the handle is pressed. I have the high brake hooked up and the ebrake works fine, so I'm not sure what to do to fix it. If anyone knows how to correct this, please let me know.
Long story short I tried re wiring my back light didn't turn off the circuit breaker and the was a spark now my bike doesn't turn on do I need a new wiring loom
I just find it really weird that I didn’t hear one noise when the bike cut out, didn’t smell any electrical, and cant find any forum’s online with this issue as well.
