Hi everyone! Thank you so much for watching this. If you have not seen part one, I highly recommend watching that video prior to this one, as this one may be confusing without the background that I give in the first one. Thank you for joining me in #breakingcodesilence!

I can't fathom how parents get this epiphany - 'My kid is traumatised, I want them to get better... Hmmm... I'll hire some scary strangers to enact a kidnapping! Yes! Such a wonderful idea!'
@christel3742
@christel3742 2 года назад
I can’t imagine paying anyone or allowing anyone to kidnap my child, no matter the situation. This breaks my heart. “Gooning” should be illegal. Plus the logic isn’t there. You need therapy to get through trauma…so they start out by traumatizing you? I’m so sorry so many of you have gone through this. You’re all brave for coming forward.

I went to one and it's "legal" because the parents sign over parental rights to the school. How MESSED UP IS THAT?! We need more rights of the child. The Convention of the Rights of The Child needs to be ratified in the US!

My stretch was Caged Bird, and I was forced to dance for three songs. But I made Jeanie, Kara, and Kim cry. And with Commitment, my schizoaffective disorder was acting up and being silent and blindfolded did not help at all.

Molly, I doubt you’ll remember me, but I worked there while you were there. my name is Tahni and I dorm was Medina. I am so so sorry for everything you and the other girls went through. I was only there for a short time, and didn’t know a lot of the things that went on behind the scenes. I believe you. You are valid. All of your guy’s pain is valid. I am so sorry for playing a part of your pain and trauma. That place traumatized me too as a person who worked there. I think about it often. And being a part of the LGBTQIA community I am ashamed of working for that place. You are a strong, wonderful, caring person. You were then and you are now. I am so proud that you are speaking out against them. I just want you to know that. Keep fighting. Keep sharing your story.

Thank you so much for reaching out❤️ I appreciate you recognizing the trauma that SRA puts its students through. It’s definitely strange for me to revisit a time that I had blocked for a while but I am hoping to help prevent other girls from going through what myself and so many others have gone through.

Thank you for sharing your story. People like you are saving an entire generation of children from experiencing this trauma. I’ll never send my daughter to one of these Guantanamo Junior camps.

I used to be in a boarding school in Dundee Kentucky I spent 7yrs their in a school that was highly religious the staff and director treated you as soldiers and the directors wife called us retards all the time, physical force they said would only be used if we refused to do something meaning we were ‘fighting’ them. Of many incidents there were many instances where blood was drawn by a 6’3” ex marine on 6-17 yr olds or by staff during the first time I was there the school started to mellow out do to CPS being called numerous time. From what I’ve heard they used to have to bear crawl for 45 mins during winter and summer mind it is around 95 in summer and super humid as well as 20-35 degrees in winter. Sometimes you would burn your hands in summer and you would definitely cut your hands on ice or rocks in summer. The sons of the director were guinea pigs and I’ve only heard the stories of the punishments they dealt on their sons to see what would work with other kids . We were forced to go to church every time it was open punishments would include at the beginning depending upon how angry they were push-up position for 2-3 hrs straight with head up and back straight time would start over for moving. Or 200pushups mind these are at the youngest 6yrs and oldest 17. Staff had ultimate rule meaning they could lie about an incident and we would get in trouble even if it was abuse in the physical form. Every time we went to North Carolina for a revival meeting we would be sitting all in rows like a detention facility or prisoners we were not permitted to talk to girls or anyone without permission we were not even allowed to talk amongst ourselves at all. We were called stupid and shamed to any nice church people that wanted to show compassion to us and so doing made them think poorly of us so we were just the ‘boys’. Depending upon how good you were depended on how much food you got also they gave you three meals of course but they would give the worst of the worst to the kids with more problems. One of the sons of the director came back and started to abuse the kids when they refused to do punishments. In instance a he would kick them until some 8yr old kids couldn’t breathe and would go into hyperventilation at times. We couldn’t do anything for fear of being stuck their longer and being hurt ourselves or our parents not believing us. Another son came back with his wife and she would flirt with the older guys and many times I have been to close and in inappropriate situations with her as well as other older kids. A principal left after no prosecution after smashing a kids face into a desk till a pool of blood was flowing over the desk while yelling at all of us that he would do this to us if we didn’t obey. He was so called ‘fired’ but never prosecuted. The police were good friends of the director so we couldn’t be believed for a lot of things we had a kid jump out a two story window barefoot on gravel to try and run because he wanted to get out of there so bad he didn’t break his legs but was treated as scum after found. We’ve had kids beat up, molested etc. and no one would believe some kids because they were to retarded in the staffs mind. Just a bit I feel what your saying thanks

YOOO me too! These places were so messed up and it's honestly so odd how similar they all are even though when I would play against other schools (I went to Hyde and graduated, and I played against Elan) it took the "confrontation" for me to even realize... Anyway I see you and I hope you know even though these places told us in our formative years we are "messed up" we are honestly the most beautiful and resilient and talented people of all out there and our hearts are so full of perseverance and genuine honesty.

At Nebr.Psych.Inst. on my 1st evening during the 3-11 PM shift, in Omaha Nebraska I was locked in the Quiet Room and they make me take all my clothes off except my underwear. The staff at NPI during the 3-11 shift got away with alot behavior toward patients. There were No doctors and Registered Nurses to watch over them
