shako amurvelashvili I don't hate Adam. I just don't understand why he's so beloved. Like I said, he could be a great guy IRL. but his televised character seems pretty unlikeable.
I like Adam as a person, not as a player OVERALL. He clearly understands Survivor, understands what needs to be done, and I think with everything going on with his mother he wants the win too much to control his emotions. He's found an idol, found an advantage, and at first, aligned himself with Zeke and Hannah. But he's made mistakes (trying to woo Taylor obviously) and he's looked at as untrustworthy. That being said, he has a true idol. No one, except for maybe Hannah, officially knows that he has an idol. He has to play it coy and sit back. As soon as no one is discussing the vote with him, he needs to play that thing. If he uses it to save someone like Jessica or Zeke, he's going to have a big redemption.
Thought it was interesting that Will voted for Jay. Didn't see that coming, even if he's trying to play ball with the dominant alliance I'd have expected him to vote out Taylor.
I honestly don t get the Hannah edit, like how is it making a big move to follow a plana majority planned out? How are you not a goat when u r follwing a majority without any real input ? From her speech a I honestly felt like I missed an episode coz I ve seen nothing praise worthy from her so far...
Rob, I've been a long time watcher and always love the additional insight I get from you and other Survivors. That being said, today I made the mistake of reading the comments. 1st time and .... last time. A lot of women haters and debate about Sophie rather than the show. Sophie is awesome and her insight is always spot on! - Sophie - great point - the Gen Xer's could've blindsided Summer easily and they didn't. I am so concerned about my pick, Jessica that I didn't think of that as a strategic option. I think the right decision was made in Episode 9, but I think everyone is missing that Zeke is about to find out that Jay has an idol and he knows that David has an idol. He could really swing the game if he wants too.
Love Sophie! I think Zeke could get away with saying he sat out because he didn't have a shot at winning but I don't get why Will said it especially after winning last week's immunity challenge. I'd love to see them do a school yard pick before Jeff explains what the challenge is and have the challenge be something that requires a little bit of everything: swimming, running, balance, puzzle, etc.
Am I missing something? Sophie is berating Hannah for having panic attacks at tribal meanwhile she broke down crying in the final five tribal when she found out people didn't like her. Pretty damn hypocritical
Kevin Luna this season is not grat, but for me it is an upgrade since a I really hated last season, I wasnt evne able to finish it ..there was jut not a single person I was able to root for, at least now I have that. But next season shoudl be great, I guess we can t be greedy
Yeah, didn't LOVE last season but this one... Nine episodes and not much has happened. Unfortunately what I think is that as soon as a good player is spotted, he or she is voted out! That's why you end up in final three with a Tai. from season 32. Could not stand him! Now peopla like Breat and Sunday are in the majority aliance and they do nothing for the show.
Most wouldn't have been happy with Hillary either, but no one gave a damn about them. I watch to listen about Survivor, not to hear even more bitching about the election.

I'm at 17:13 and I just can't go any further. Sophie is just all over the place when she talks about this episode AND THATS ONLY WHEN SHE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS EPISODE CAUSE SHE KEEPS GOING OFF SUBJECT! I'm bummed about the election also but I came on here to take my mind off of it. Stop bringing it up and just talk about the episode that we just watched. Please don't have Sophie back. I also have to admit that for some reason I didn't manage to watch this RHAP with Sophie on my first go, but I guess also because I'm not THAT into this season (yeah actually less than into Australian Survivor tbh). however, after my 2nd go gotta say - great job Sophie, so many great remarks and awesome insight! (29:00 yes! I like Zeke but I also get really irritated how TV-friendly he gets in his private scenes)
It's crazy how Sophie winning vs Coach & Albert makes her think her opinion on the game is so on point all the time. She wasn't a good player, even though she won. She's no different from the girl who beat Russell in S19. They both won just because they were sitting at the end with two men who people were bitter against cuz they played hardest. When I think of South Pacific, I think of Coach not Sophie. When I think of Samoa, I think of Russell. Kelley Wentworth has delusions of grandeur as well...like she played a good game. She didn't...she was on the wrong side of the numbers almost the entire post-merge! That ain't good gameplay. Jeremy did better than her at every facet of the game.

Matt Hydra But who was responsible for the 17 she beat???? Coach Wade. Imagine this...Coach didn't win but he'll still get called back. She won & never will get brought back. That alone shows that her and Natalie shouldn't have won...and weren't great on the island from a production perspective

I really don't understand why people root for Ken. They hated Michele last season because she wasn't strategic enough but root for Ken who isn't strategic at all...
charlie walsh maybe it's that some people can relate to him more than to Michele? Ken is more quiet, shy and kind of anti-social while Michele was this really friendly, outgoing type of girl.
He did strategize(or tried to) in the beginning. He also got Adam to trust him to vote for Figgy. But honestly, I don't think anybody is making huge strategies. They are just picking sides.
People, or at least I, didn't hate Michele because she wasn't strategic enough - I disliked her because she had an excruciating voice and cadence (ending every sentence with a question mark is, like, so annoying?), and a bland personality that was shoved in our faces with countless tedious confessionals so the editors could justify her win. Ken, on the other hand, hasn't had much airtime but has shown more personality in his own inimitable way than Michele did in an entire season. In a season about generational differences, Ken almost comes off like he's been transported from an era that does not exist - or, I guess, the 1930's. He looks like your standard model recruit, but behaves nothing like it. He's strange and odd and vulnerable in a very specific, authentic way, from the way he talks to the way he thinks. He seems both incredibly boring and incredibly interesting simultaneously, and I don't think we've seen a person like him on reality TV before, whereas there are probably 25 Micheles on tv right this moment. She wasn't interesting as a character and she wasn't interesting as a player, hence the criticism.
