Right!? I don't get why everyone thinks so lowly of Vanuatu. It's in my top 15 seasons. In fact, it's even a little better than Amazon imo. The best male vs. female season, very unpredictable, and a really enjoyable cast overall. Okay, to be fair, the male cast is really just kinda average outside of Chris obviously and maybe Rory and Sarge, but the entire female cast, even including the three pre-merge boots in Lisa, Mia, and Dolly, was absolutely fantastic. Not a single forgettable or unlikable person in that entire tribe. And even then, I didn't hate anyone on the male tribe either, they were all just kinda bland outside of the three I mentioned. But that's another reason why this season stands out. It's one of the few seasons I can think of where there is not a single person in the cast that I found myself rooting against for any particular reason. Hell, I think Twila is really over-hated, I'm just gonna say it. Even seasons I like more than Vanuatu are guilty of having a couple people I really don't like watching. Vanuatu is free of that burden for me. The cast ranges from expendable at worst to spectacular at best.
@@TheWAB10 I really wish, but it'll never happen because Jeff hates him, as well as the whole season sadly. I'd love to see Twila play again as well, I felt she could've been a prime second chance candidate. Outside of her jury management, I think she played just as well as Chris did.
I really liked this season. It had an amazing winner, an amazing last 4 episodes, and an amazing FTC. Twila, Eliza, Julie, Scout, and Ami were all great as well.
What's amazing is that this season had two lesbians on the jury, and they cast the only two votes for Twila to win the game. Next season, Coby was the only gay jury member and cast the only vote for Katie (or against Tom), and then Rafe was the only gay jury member and cast the only vote for Steph. Richard won the game, Varner didn't make the jury, and Brandon voted for Kim, so the only homosexual to vote for a winner in the first 11 seasons was John Carroll in Marquesas.
Lucien yes Ami. She was the queen running this game until she got dethroned. She was robbed in Micronesia and her head wasn’t in the game because of a friends suicide.
Watching this season the first time I thought chris will not make it to the merge and shockingly the men tribe voted out members who can help them win challenges but in the end the women tribe also a dysfunctional group and chris was able to deflect the attention away from him.
Chris played a great game but Twila was literally the best player in this season, definitely robbed. Chris was a close 2nd tho. Also, Rory is underrated tbh maybe that’s an unpopular opinion idk
Twila was definitely one of the most open and candid competitors ever. She wore her heart on her sleeve. Yet that was also her weakness. She was a nervous Nelly , always needing to depend on someone else . She wasn't a particularly savvy player. For example, if she were in a situation like the more athletic men found themselves in from day 1, outnumbered and backed into a corner to get picked off,. Can you imagine Twila being quick on her feet and sharp enough to game her way out of that spot? No. She was okay... but a GOAT can change the game and multiple players' trajectories. Twila wasn't that.
Once Leann was voted out I knew Chris would win. I correctly predicted the final episode, Chris would win both immunity challenges and win the game and Eliza would be voted off first and then Scout.
LeAnn was average to me. Julie was much better than I I initially gave her credit for. John K. was a great athlete and physical threat, but immature and terrible at the interpersonal maneuvering.
My uncle was originally going to be on either this season or pearl islands but he never competed because of unknown reasons. But he told that he still has his audition tape
My dad auditioned sometime during 2006 and didn’t get in. I don’t know what season he would’ve been either Cook Islands or Fiji. But I’m kinda glad he didn’t go bc i am not sure those are great seasons
JFP Entertainment i know i saw it and it’s not bad at all. I just don’t think it’s holds up with race war theme. The aitu 4 story was good and powerful but Lowkey didn’t enjoy the pagonging of the other alliance in the merge just as a survivor fan but i knew it was necessary. Also feel bad for sundra and Becky bc they kinda got the short stick of the group. The idol Yul had was too OP. Also Penner and Candice I’m not fans of them. Parvati was medium but good thing she got a second chance in FvF. But much better than Fiji
Adams Briee yea Yul’s idol was so OP like you can’t even gameplan against it considering Yul is an incredible Social Player he Yul was just to dominate

She was the ideal, central casting version of "Queen Bee, lesbian villain"! She just looked and acted the part perfectly w/her arrogance and smugness when she had control. You just couldn't wait for her to get her commupance! Lol.
I did not like crhis as a winner. I would have eliza or even twila to win. Chris should have been eliminated first. Strong men of their tribe like Jp. Brooke. Brandy should allianced with Lea and voted out the others.
Chris was SUCH a slimeball! He was great at the interpersonal maneuvering, obviously. You have to give him that. Yet he was SO disingenuous. His relationships and alliances were solely to protect him and get him ahead, which is a huge part of the game.for sure, but a player like him ideally would only get so far. Say, final 4-5. I personally root for the best all around player, which was the FBI guy , Brady this season,who never even had a chance, ironically because Chris was so uncoordinated and totally blew his team's first immunity challenge.Meaning he had to scramble and scheme w/Sarge to protect himself. It really annoyed me that the older, weaker and self tagged vulnerable guys chose to pick off their best players so early on, which explains the long-term disadvantage they put themselves in. But Chris immediately shed his alliance w/the older guys to align w/the older gals to protect himself. He is a Littlefingerrsque type that shouldn't have won, but should be invited back for specialty seasons. To put it bluntly..... The winner of survivor this season, couldn't cross a wooden fucking plank in FIFTEEN MINUTES!!! Unreal.
Chris is a legend he went from almost being a laughable first boot from not getting over a balance beam to dismantling a women’s alliance of six I bet all the Yas Queens on Twitter were pissed But you have to give credit where credit to do no man has ever done that and probably never will again imagine if Chris was in Micronesia against the black widow brigade it would’ve been a legendary if he did that
Sorry, man. I agree on a lot of things I see you post. However, I love the old tribal council music. From The Amazon to Micronesia. In Gabon, they started adding different versions.
I remember afters scout went i didn't give a shit about the final 2. Or really anyone else in that final 4. Twila is one of my least favorite players ever
As much as this whole season sucked, because of the feminism, swearing on family, and so many stupid & bitter losers (Mia, Ami, Lisa, Eliza, Twila, Sarge, Bubba), it was still satisfying to see Chris solefully Outwitted, Outplayed, and Outlasted 6 women, and beat them at their own game.
Eliza was the most annoying this season with her shocked expressions. She can't get mad at Lisa for voting Mia out to keep Twila, when she voted Dolly out to save Leann.
For sure one of the most sketchy winners ever. Lol. An interesting character, though. You MUST give him that. But the type I hate seeing advance past final 4 or 5!
