I didn't know I was suspended it was suspended on the 17th but I didn't get the letter until the 21st (I was out of state) is there anything I can do? So my license was suspended for an apparent failure to appear but I never was notified and during the dates I was supposedly suspended I got my license for the first time in the state of ct how can I get that off

If you are suspended for a child support arrearage you need a family court lawyer, not a traffic lawyer. This is because the judgment and debt you owe is out of family court, and it's the family court that authorizes the DMV to suspend your license. What you need to do is get before the family court, get on a payment plan, and then they will lift your suspension.

This cannot be a NY State case because people cannot apply for a license until they are 16. Contact a traffic ticket lawyer in your state and consult about sanitizing the record in that state.

There is not enough information here for me to know what is going on. For example, what was your state of licensing at the time of this ticket? What state were you in when you got the ticket? Where they photo enforced tickets or tickets written by a cop?
I'm dealing with an erroneously added suspension on my mvr right now. I received a violation notice with a "pending suspension" if I didn't answer a summons from NY state and I immediately took care of it but nj recorded it as a suspension anyway. It's a huge pita because I moved cross country this month and I can't get a job because of it. I have the court orders from NY removing the pending suspension 1 month before NJ recorded it. I'm having no luck on any front. Ny DMV says there's no record of suspension so they can't send anything to remove to nj. The ny court was very nice and gave me copies of the violations they sent and the order to stop the pending suspension with dates but NJ isn't accepting it. I'm losing my mind at this point.

Hey Mike I can use some advice it’s somewhat similar to this video. I have got a speeding ticket and paid it online when I received it. But wasn’t aware in the state of Georgia they issue additional charge called the super speeder ticket and never received any information about it until I went to the DMV years later to renew my license. when I called and tried to get it removed, the county said it was the court and the court said it was the county that suspended my license until I pay that additional charge. So my license was suspended for 3 years and wasn’t aware.

Hello Michael, I have three equipment violations that were issued in January 2005 that I failed to pay then. They caused a suspension that I was not notified of in January of 2020 and I paid them immediately when i found out about them in January of 2021. The scofflaw lifted the suspension automatically when I paid them but they still remain on my abstract. This is currently stopping a commercial driving company from offering me a job. They want to hire me, their insurance company is saying no, they need to be three years past the lift date.
