Installing a Magnum in my 91 vert here in the next few weeks. This was super helpful. I’m hoping I can re use the cross member from my old 1995 Viper T56. Was bummed the quick time bell housing from it won’t work on the Magnum. Just ordered a 8031 bell housing
Wow! Looking hot but the length of those cross member bolts would worry the crap out of me. Also, get rid of the red cone air filter and put a blue one on. It'll match the valve covers better.
I had the one water pump bolt that goes thru the timing chain cover into the drivers side of the head. It was rusty and weak. I paid someone to do it and they even had problems. Lesson learned... replaced them with ARP bolts.
Nice man! Love the build! I’m running a 2.66 First close ratio Tremec Magnum in my Coupe and it transformed the car! Slick shifting, nice ratios on the street and strong! You’re gonna love yours!
Patient and research is good! Sometimes like you said sir, there is no information or previous research out there that has been documented for educational purpose. We become the test subject to put up our experiences that might help others in the future.
Keep it up brother! You got everything else figured out. A little grinding on one side and drilling on the other and you’ll have that exhaust figured out too
Hey man there is a other option instead of drilling that broken bolt. You could weld the other end back on and then use some heat to extract it then tap the hole .just a thought. As always love the black.what do use on it to clean it?
Yep another thing that I have never done which is welding. I have recently used a ceramic coat spray wax with microfiber towels. It’s super hard to keep clean though
Hey I'm interested in getting Aodhan dS05 for my red 97 cobra what color do you think fits best? I was thinking bronze would look good but I want some opinions.
Please please don’t take this the wrong way but man that trans cross member looks sketchy, I know you prob had no other option but man I hope it works out, and stands up to all the abuse.
At first glance it looks sketchy... The stock brackets are still doing the same job. The forces at play in that area aren't too stressful anyway. The motor mounts handle the torque, that just supports the tail.
@@BuiltVSBought there is a complete kit for this job approximately 5 grand that comes with all u need, I'm guessing u purchased each piece individually.....I have a 93 dart block stroker and I'm about to tackle same job
