Per Erik Magnus Grönwall is a Swedish hard rock and heavy metal singer. In 2009, he won the Swedish Idol reality television. During several of the shows, he received standing ovations from the jury for his performances. His first single, "Higher", sold gold on digital downloads after only three days.

You missed the great story that the little guy who applied to Idol with a Skidrow song actually became the lead singer of Skidrow later. He has recently resigned from the band due to health reasons. He has had leukemia and undergone bone marrow transfusion and with that he has as poor an immune system as a 4-year-old. Then it's hard to tour the world

I Will Always Love You is actually a Dolly Parton song. She wrote and recorded it back in 1973 and released it on her 1974 album Jolene. In 1992 Whitney covered it for the soundtrack of the movie The Bodyguard.

this is hands down one of the greatest male covers done on this song, it's Not an easy song to perform. There are so many minor details and dynamic things vocally that passes by the untrained ear.

Whitney is probably Very Surprised in Heaven now! Her Version is Much Too Weak Compared to The Version from Erik! Erik has a Srronger Voice, Much more Emphathy and a Clearer Presentation of The Lyrics! Listen and Learn! The Best Version Ever!

Eric sang the first half of "I will always love you" as a tribute to Whitney. He then used his own style in the second half to make the cover his own. Grönwall married his girlfriend when he discovered he had cancer. This was a way of protecting her financially, as well as solidifying their love. He also has podcasts where he shows his family and talks about touring and his recent life. He's a humble and kind dude. Oh, last thing, my man has been Frontman for a couple of major bands over the past ten years. After the initial talent competition, he's become financially successful. I recommend you react to his recent Mariah Carrey song version and & also his very different "Skid Row" sound performances.
