The only thing I didn’t like about the Oled is the pixel density is lower and that makes some games look blurry, specially pixel art games or Snes games like the megaman collections, the x games look better on the Vita compared to the switch Oled.
@@itsmaxx_fr Not really,has the same specs as the normal switch my friend. The only difference is that it doesn’t offer some very minor features because non-detachable joy-cons. For most people,and how its about the brightest screen out of all of the Switches then really the Switch Lite performs better outside with its smaller yet sleeker form factor. If you plan on playing outside in handheld mode,the Switch Lites brighter screen and easier portability is what you need. Plus,it won’t drift if you respect it and give it breaks. Don’t go overboard with the thing.
@@deander7653 You know that every switch has the exact same internals besides the docking abilities,correct? Only difference is in the Joy Cons and the kickstand. Screen wise,the Switch Lite has the smallest yet its a nice size,you aren’t losing anything with that screen size. You truly wouldn’t notice a difference. In fact,you basically insulted every other switch version because of the fact that they are basically all the same. Switch Lite may not be able to dock but the OLED is usually played in Handheld mode for most people anyways,y’all wasted your money
to be fair the screen is not the only imporvement they did (but the main one) so people might assume that the oled runs faster (which it doesn't) so this comparison is still good because of people who don't know that it runs the same
@@marcio029p And it’s bigger. And has a better stand. And the dock has an Ethernet port. More than just an OLED screen, which is already good enough to be considered a big upgrade.
The primary difference is that the OLED switch has genuine black levels (i.e. it can turn off individual pixels) while the original switch is lit by a single panel for the whole display. So you don't get anywhere near the same color accuracy or contrast.
Will copy exactly what I replied comments above XD Yep, expanding a rectangle a bit seems to be nothing, but since its 4 angles are expanded, the increase in size is more than it seems, the same with the 3DS XL, the XL seemed only a little bigger but when compared physically with a normal 3ds screen, the change is considerable
There's a solution to that, go into Internet settings and press MTU. Change it from 1400 to 1500. It let's the switch use slightly more Internet but it makes download speed and loading stuff so much quicker

The video literally displayed the first & second generation switches, how on earth could you say "I don't know what I would of done without this video" you remind me of those spam bots "You know it's a good day when {youtuber} uploads" like bruh
If the normal switch would’ve atleast used the newer liquid IPS screens like the iPhone 11, XR and SE’s use, that honestly would’ve been good enough. They don’t have the true blacks and darks that Oled’s do, but color wise and everything else those liquid IPS screens look just as good.
Was tired of playing games on pc so I got the oled version just to play zelda breath of the wild and animal crossing new horizons. Can't say I regret anything! Playing games on the switch is soo much more enjoyable than playing poorly developed modern pc gamesl.
Sometimes when the Switch won’t seem to turn on, you have to hold down the Power Button for fifteen seconds and then press the power button again to turn it on. The load time determines how much time you can play afterwards! 😁😁😁😁
I never thought id notice a difference in screens when i got the oled, but its a game changer man. It looks so good and the size difference is also noticeable. Its heavier but idc
They are actually the same size, smaller bezels but same specs lol, it doesn't worth buying it so probably the good choice is to wait for the next gen one.
Oled is better than the normal Switch and only 50 bucks more expensive so I'd get that over the regular. Though it's not enough for an upgrade if you already have a regular Switch
@@Aapiplayz They have the same performance and the same 1280×720 resolution, which means the OLED has lower pixel density, the only other notable differences are the enhanced audio playback and wired Ethernet. If you mainly use it docked the only improvement is the Ethernet.
@@Mr_Tooty that's what I said. Oled is better if you don't have a Switch but the few new additions don't make it a worthy upgrade like New 3DS was for 3DS
@@Aapiplayz Even if you don't have one, you can purchase a crossover edition of the LCD for the same price as a OLED, which will increase its resell value further down the road.
Honestly lots of people like to say the regular one is better but they always forget that the OLED one has a bigger and more vivid screen does TV output at 1080p and the stand on the entire back is way better than that sliver of a kick stand
its very very slightly larger, almost completely insignificantly so. the big game changer is they cut down the bezels on the screen a LOT so the same form factor looks a lot larger
Lookwise I like the switch. It's more handy due to being smaller and big bezels give it a modern day PSP look whereas the Oled edition looks like a controller is attached to a mobile phone
