Looking to get one of these cameras to better my channel with better footage. Your input helped a lot, thank you! Also, the fact that you can link the cameras together! WOW! Awesome!!
Good honest review, well done! I have both a 4.0 and a 5.0 (upgraded from a 2.0 which I had a few years ago), and I wish I could master the WiFi, and remote filming, but I'm glad I watched this because I was considering buying a SOLO at BPS for $149. The 5.0 is the way to go, and maybe add the remote control. Thanks for the review.
Great review and comparison, only thing I would add is when comparing prices. The 5.0 comes with just the camera, battery and charger for $299, and the solo comes with the camera, battery and charger just like the 5.0, but also includes 3 mounts. The under scope, custom gun and the stabilizer mount which would have to be purchased separately with the 5.0. That actually increases the price difference by about an additional $100.
@@rackfactoroutdoors it was a good game! ND out up a much better fight than I expected them too. Fyi, I ordered a 6.0! Have you done a video on it yet?
To be honest, it is difficult. I’m assuming that you mean to review the footage to see where you hit the deer. If you are using the bow mount, you have to be sure to keep the bow up and pointed towards the deer. Sometimes that can be easy to forget in the moment of truth. The other issue is the frame rate on the Tactacams are very low, meaning when you try to slow the video down, the lighted knock becomes almost a red or green line. They are far from perfect, but they will at least give you an idea of where you hit the deer. Hope this helps.
Not really impressed with either one. Even at 20 yards cannot see the arrow hit the target. I know for the price you are probably getting a lot of technology and ease-of-use but is it really that satisfying when all you see is the animal walk up and then runoff after the shot? not for me. but thanks for the info.
That’s what the video is for… so everyone can see what they are getting before they spend the money. It’s not perfect… but for many guys, it’s their best option for self-filming. Thanks for watching.
