the 10 speed transmission is a novelty a revolution into a positive direction, but is not for me, i will never be as fast as a 10 speed auto car in my 6 speed manual but i sure will have twice if not three times more fun and that's for sure. congrats in your car my dude i my self have the exact same spect out car just in the color velocity blue. you will never regret buying the 6 speed.don't be afraid of what other people might say about driving the manual. at the end of the day is your car so its your decision.
Awesome just got my 19 gt a couple weeks ago, 10 speed. Love it! Can’t stop driving it! Got mine in Long Beach! At the end of the day they’re awesome, 10 speed or manual, they’re incredible!
I have to disagree whole heartedly. I've owned manual mustangs all my life. I do in the city if Los Angeles, and I've enjoyed my 10 speed auto in my GT PP1 just as much if not more than any of my manuals. And my last Mustang was an '03 Cobra.
Nice. Mustangs are super easy to drive manual. At least it was for me. I preferred it more than the Camaro SS I drove. The sweet spot in the clutch of the Stang was much easier to find.
I did the same thing ...... about a month ago I traded in my 2017 Mustang Ecoboost for a 2020 Mustang GT base with the 6 speed manual and I love it!!!!
New at driving manual? You doing very good man. Your very lucky to get a mustang at a young age. I’m 32 and still trying to get one. You got supportive parents too. Wish mine was able to help me. Nice you got a nice car.
Nice! I've had my 18 5.0 for about 2 years now with over 20k miles on it. I noticed the "tick" around 6k miles after all the tick videos on youtube. So far so good, the tick hasn't hurt the reliability of the car from what i can tell.
trey I didn’t wanna risk it and thankfully ford bought it back but honestly looking at it now i dont know if it will really be an issue after all. We’ll have to still wait and see though, I hope your car continues to be reliable
I'm waiting to see if the 2020s still have the tick. If they dont have it I'm trading my 2019 in for one. I know ford says it's normal but I absolutely hate it as well as several other noises it has started to make.
You seem like a nice kid. Nice to see these days. I have a 2019 GT PP1 with the 10R80 in orange Fury color. Love the car and no ticks as of yet. Changed out the oil at 1,600 miles with Amsoil in the same weight. Hope that helps......Congrats!
Beautiful car, man! I used to own a 2013 Challenger RT and traded it in for a 2016 WRX STI, next....maybe a mustang? :D subbed! Look forward to more videos. Also, manual cars are so much more fun!
Excellent choice on the color and package. I have a 2015 manual GT with the PP, not sure others are like me but I actually start off in 2nd gear because 1st is so low. I use 1st when I am at the drag strip. Have fun with it. You'll love the sound once you put the x-pipe on, did it to mine and it screams.
Had my 18’ Eco for about a year, can’t wait to trade in for a GT this year. Hopefully I can get a good deal on a package like yours but 10 speed. Congratulations on the Mustang it’s beautiful.
Congrats bro. I absolutely love mine as well. Im a magnetic metal paint type of guy, but that twister 🍊 looks fantastic. Concerning the tick, i have absolutely no abnormal sounds from my 5.0 whatsoever. Mine runs great and sounds smooth. The clutch is butter and that classic 5.0 note is fabulous. Enjoy that car bro. ✌🏾
DFSLounge Mine unfortunately developed the tick and has insanely bad interior rattles. Quality of these cars has gone down :/ I try to enjoy it but every second something seems to come up and stop that from happening
@@caffeinatedmotors oh man, im so sorry bro. You were so happy when you picked it up. What a shame.. hopefully it gets better. Keep us posted on the developments.
BEAUTIFUL CAR! Congratulations! I traded in my 2016 EB Premium a few weeks before you and got a 2018 GT with PP1 and 6-Speed Manual with only 7,000 miles on it. I don't have leather seats or the digital dash, but I'm still having the time of my life with it. Beautiful car, nice video & enjoy!
BSchoon55 Thank you! Hey, you got that weight reduction getting the base model, and realistically the only package you NEED is the performance pack and you got it!
@@caffeinatedmotors Haha, to tell you the truth I thought the cloth seats were really going to bug me coming from a premium EB, but but that isn't too bad. The only thing I really would like is that digital dash, but I'll hang on to what I got. Like you said, the important stuff is around. Your car is absolutely everything inside & out, will be checking in for new videos man, it's perfect.
Godbless that sales man @1:50, for suggesting to purchase the bracket for the front plate, so they don't have to drill holes in his bumper. To bad every other dealership wasn't like this. I have heard enough stories of people telling them not to mount the front bracket, but they do anyways. Ford should of thought of another way, like that bracket you can get on CJ's. I bought my car off the lot, which the bracket was already on, so can't complain there. It is actually in debate right now, whether my Province will keep the front plate, or ditch them. Hopefully they ditch them. Congrats on your new s550 GT :)
IMGONEIN60 I am. I have kept it under 4k and have driven about 500 miles so far. Hir 4.5k accidentally a few times on downshifts but absolutely no full throttling. It’s hard. Also only putting shell 91 in it
Christian Goetze So far the car feels great, i am still adjusting a little to the transmission and i am also still breaking in the car sk i havent gone that fast yet but im having a lot of fun. I definitely reccomend you to get a manual 5.0 with the performance package level 1, the performance package is definitely important
The Dude I used to have a 2018 10 speed actually but it had the engine tick. Decided to go manual this time. I LOVED the 10 speed when i was going fast but daily driving with normal driving it was kind of boring so I went manual this time
Replace your oem clutch spring with the steeda aftermarket one it makes a world difference with the bite. I know the stock one feels soft and smooth but I kept stalling like crazy.
Hey man congrats on the new car I got a 19 gt as well last week and it been an absolute blast so far and honestly you might here a ticking sound during the start-up but after it idles it should go away and don't stress it either you're under warranty.
I have the Orange Fury which has some metallic in it, which flops if different lighting. I saw Twister Orange at the LA Auto Show on a GT500. The color does not have metallic in it. You can correct me if I'm wrong. With that said....I like both colors.
Are you missing the auto at all? I miss my manual in my 3018 GT PP. I find the 10R80 a bit manic, shifting too often when it isn't needed and often hunting for gears. I can see why it overheats after 2 or 3 laps on the track. The shift delay when paddle shifting really bothers me too.
When I bought my ecoboost for 35k I did not need a cosign I was getting the gt but insurance was too high so I did not i only have 4 months with my licence got 3 months with my ecoboost I love it but will have to wait till I can get a 5.0 and I do not need a cosign up to 60k i did put a 5k down-payment
Love the color, but infeel like i would grow tireed of it after a few months. Plus don't loud colors like that knock down resale value? I figure they are in less demand than typical red black and white
they're great cars honestly, also to your other comment I wouldn't worry about the tick personally, it really does seem like it's just a normal operating noise
bruh, u going to need more than just 275 tires hope you plan to upgrade those, i got stock 285's on my used 2016 nismo Z and i still spin in 1st and 2nd with only 350hp. Almost got a 2019 gt too, but the 40k+ price tag and the stock 235 tires was the deal breaker for me. I would get the extended warranty if you still can too cause lately the 2018/19 models have engine tick problems, i see you have the 6 speed so you dont have to worry about the 10speed.
Hey, so since you have the eco for 3 years, i had friend also have an eco and he complaining about it like it’s always break down so how was it like based on your experience
Congrats dude you'll learn off clutch on gas simo watch out for hills and inclines when taking off..good luck brother imma sub so I can see your journey.....stay off them rock stars lol...
@@caffeinatedmotors The 350s are amazing. I wish I could have afford one. I went with an h pipe myself. I'm more of a deeper tone guy.... even though even the h pipe has a higher pitch to it. Just enough for my ears too. I think x would have been to much for me lol
The Dude I think the fact that i have a big ole v8 in a coupe is enough muscle car feel for me haha, that x pipe will give it a nice race car sound, ill be sure to record everything when the x pipe is delivered this friday
Bigdaddytrucker Yes I know. I had an 18 10r80 but it had the tick and ford bought it back. Eventually when they start putting dual clutches in the GT’s ill go ahead and maybe trade this one in for it. I dont like traditional torque converter autos, too outdated, esp considering the paddleshifters lag so bad
Caffeinated Motors Honestly I love the new 10spd I’m looking to get a mustang GT in 2021-2022 with the 10sp i drove one and it shifts very fast and downshifts fasts as well it’s better then dual clutch speed only downside in slower paddle shifter ,doesn’t bother me because most of the time I’m not using them .
No bro I know how you feel. I'm 20 personally. ENJOY YOUR CHILDHOOD YEARS FIRST before worrying about materialistic things like cars. The time for cars will come.
Hit up Steeda for a new clutch pedal return spring and shifter bushing. The spring improves the feel of the clutch pedal because the factory spring is too strong. The bushing replaces the foam factory bushing at the base of the shifter, takes away alot of the wet noodle feel and improves accuracy of shifts under power. Best of all these mods are cheap and warranty safe. www.steeda.com/steeda-555-7022-s550-clutch-spring www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-shifter-base-bushing-bracket-kit-2015-all-555-7092.html
Congrats on your new GT! How much were you able to get for your trade in? Do you feel like you got a fair deal? I currently own a 2018 ecoboost 10 speed and have been thinking of trading up for a GT as well
Hey man I’m 18 and I was wondering if you would tell me some of your numbers. How much did you put down? How much are your payments per month? How much is your insurance per month? Thanks man
