As a nurse, this pisses me off about genetic testing. People please don’t use this mindset. It’s great to see the high risk doctors if there’s a problem, set up therapies and start learning, have the NICU ready, etc. It is so frustrating when people act like this.

They will feel different when they hear the most horrifying sound that ever existed aka their child barfing in the middle of the night when they're in a dead sleep. Or waking up to your child standing over you telling you they barfed. Or when they get sick and cant breathe and your stuck with them on the bathroom floor with the shower going on hot to get it all steamy so your baby can breathe but you're both crying and you're running off coffee and no sleep and you just want to leave and check into a hotel for a week. She thinks 9 months alone with her husband is the same as waiting a year or two to have kids and really getting to know each other, going on date nights, traveling and experiencing new places and things together and making memories, sleeping in on the weekends and just being able to hop in the car and go, taking naps or going to bed whenever you feel the urge. You have your whole lives ahead of you to start a family, why rush it? You wont get that time back. I love my kids more than anything but I do wish I had waited and spent those crucial first two years of marriage just being together and getting to know each other more and just having the freedom to do and go as we pleased as a couple. Now your first year will be pregnancy symptoms, birth, late night feedings, diaper rash, pink eye, no sleep, fighting over whos turn it is to make a bottle at the butt crack of dawn. Which by the way, those memories with my husband I will never forget, he was the best but dont be in a rush to start this phase when you haven't even had a chance to be a couple. You went straight from teen to parents...Its gonna be hard!!!

Josh, you are on fire in this video! I am a Christian (not fundamental), and I listen to all kinds of music. I grew up in the 60s and 70s and listened to rock. It didn't turn me to drugs or the lifestyle represented in the music. There is a lot of harm in restricting things because sometimes the curiosity will pull these sheltered teens into things to explore. These two are so young and really should have waited to both get married and get pregnant. My husband and I waited 5 years to have children so we had time to get to know each other, travel, and prepare to have a family.

Yep, I was pressured to get married (but they also thought we were rushing it even though we waited longer than both pastors waited) and then pressured us to stay married despite my ex clearly being (unapologetically) emotionally abusive. He would demonstrate for the church counsellors how unrealistic and demanding he was and they would kind of stare in disbelief and then try to get through to him and then give up 😅 He can barely hide his rage issues for a one hour session where I was being totally passive and calm and eventually they said he has to come in by himself and he only went once. So that just made me more comfortable with the idea of filing for divorce.

Fast forward to today we have been married 31 years have 3 beautiful daughters and 3 grandchildren. So it can work. I just knew I wanted to be a mom all my life from a young age. My family is my greatest accomplishments and joy. Just a view from the other side.

I had my kids young. My first right after my 20th birthday and then my twins were born 9 months later. They’re all 2 and under right now and if I could go back I would’ve waited to finish my bachelors degree and everything else before having kids. Also to actually live a little more and travel before settling down in this young parent life. It’s brought a bunch of issues and everything else within my partners and my relationship which has been a hard work through but when you have three toddlers it’s the Stress Express 24/7

I LOVE my kids. But having them so young was absolutely a mistake (21 when my first was born.) I hadn’t lived life yet. It makes me sad seeing kids (as I see them now at 20/21) taking on that phase of life so early. We’re still married 14 years and 3 kids later, but I wish we’d done more life first.

I’m the first year of Gen Z. I’m a conservative Christian. My husband was in the marine corps. We got married at age 19! Craziness 😂 we had our first son at age 23 and second baby at age 25. The music talk is so funny to me. When my boys were teens they had friends that could not listen to secular music. My boys chose to listen to rap and all the cussing got to me , so i asked them why they had to swear. The answer was to get their point across. So here I am wanting to teach them that you don't need to cuss to get your point across. So I went to our local Christian Book Store and bought a rap cd which did not have cussing. Ask them to listen to just one song and then asked if they got their point across and of course they said yes. They got my point. Then the friends took it home and their mom got mad at me for letting them listen to it she could not believe it was Christian.

Please do a video on Abbey Fickley. It's bad how she shows her daughter. In one short with 10 million views, her daughter is calling herself a pimp and swinging her hips in hot pants. She's like 8 years old. Most of her shorts don't get more than a million views, but some of the shorts featuring her daughter get millions. She tends to disable the comments on the worse ones, I guess she knows predators are watching but doesn't care.
