SilentGig1 the judge eventually did the right thing and threw the kid out when it came to the verdict, but should have been thrown out before starting the case.
That woman had no business bringing her child into that courtroom. There was zero reason for her to be there. Quit dragging children into the middle of adult issues.
Bailiffs are as part of their job responsible for all persons in and out of the court room and court house security. If she even tried to say "i didnt have a babysitter" guess what you got one xD
Dude I was on major adderal since I was 8 in 2008 and I’ve quit since I started high school. But when I started high school, dude drugs is a whole nother realm.
+Jon A Judge Judy makes juveniles leave the courtroom all of the time. There are some things that a child doesn't need to hear and this lady doesn't make the best decisions, so there is no way I would have left it up to her for the child to leave.
kat rollins even if the daughter said she was ok with being there the judge should of said I am not ok with it. Parents can manipulate children and I wouldn’t it if I were a judge . DL
Amanda the plaintiff would never admit to,using meth bc she is still teaching...the other woman has nothing to lose so,of course she will tell the truth
Arman chill the hell out, I’m 11 and I know what meth is, there’s no reason to hide it from your kids. In fact the sooner you inform them about the dangers of it, the better!
Our education system is terrible. Teachers Unions make it nearly impossible to fire bad teachers, and instead of actually addressing issues with education, our government just throws money at it.
Stephen Juliano I had heard you americans making that sort of complaints about how your public system is broken, but this is a whole new level. I expect these people to be an exception or the kids don't have a chance.
costa200 This isn't common at all.. If you look at enough people at any career there will be some bad people.. But this isn't any more common here (I'd imagine) than any other country.
the problem with our school system is once a teacher has been teaching for a certain amount of time, getting them fired becomes nearly impossible, but either way you shouldn't base your whole opinion of americas teachers off of 2 of them, i guarantee i can find 2 equally horrible teachers in your country
+Jenny Wright Because parenting is a lost art. I really do wonder why there aren't classes in how to parent better. Would help all the single parents out a great deal or those on benefits since they seem to be popping children out more then anyone else.
Because she is in denial and thinks she is in the right and tells her daughter things that happened in HER point of view so she thought she was gonna a win this one for bringing her child and to let her child hear it all since she thought she would be in right and no one wouldve said nothing else
The Plaintiff needs to be real with herself like the defendant is. Admit your addictions and work towards sobriety. Like he defendant said, nobody hangs out with Meth addicts unless they're doing it with them. It's sad that she wanted her daughter there just so she can lie and say she never touched drugs.
+Cursed UchihaClan It's actually fairly easy to follow. What made it confusing was the lack of punctuation in the subtitles. If it makes it easier, here is how it should have been typed: (The person speaking in the recording is Twila) As she (referring to Amanda) stated here (probably pointing at a police report), "[Twila] agreed to pay [Amanda] back..." I never spoke to Amanda. When I was arrested (inaudible) a girl was leaving, and I said, "Can you remember a number to call and say tell her what happened?" She called up, the next thing I knew I was getting bailed out. I never agreed to pay her back.
I actually understood it the first time. Twila said that Amanda stated in the report that she agreed to pay her back, but then she says she never spoke to her therefore it wasn't true and she never did agree to pay it back.
@Araragi Koyomi the tape was of thr defendent. The defendent was saying the plantiff stated that the defendent said shed pay. The defendent said that never happened i dont agree and never did. There ya go
How does a judge not know how a bondsman works? The bail was $30,000. So she paid a bondsman $3,000 and he put up the other $27,000. Then when the case was resolved the bondsman got back the whole $30,000 ($27,000 of which was his to begin with and the other $3,000 was profit).
i believe the defendant 100% on the claim she made about the plaintiff partying it up right next to her -- she just never got caught. like the defendant said, why would they be friends if she were sober? sober people don't hang around meth heads. one major step in recovery is being truthful and she had no problem admitting everything that she did wrong and the way she impacted others with her drug use. good for her for pulling her life back together. that other woman needs a reality check. i can't believe the judge didn't boot her daughter out sooner.
The defendant was clean & sober for 3 years & openly admitted her past drug problems, but the plaintiff lied her face off, even in front of her daughter(who shouldn't have been there) I hope she stops living in denial and gets the help she needs or she's taking a big risk of ruining her life, ruining her daughter's life and going to jail....so sad. :(
I applaud this woman for owning up to her mistakes no matter who she was telling her truth to or for what reason she was telling it. She realised she was at rock bottom and needed to change and grabbed herself up and started that journey to a happy and healthy life. Her past has made her a strong woman.
WTF...how are these people able to get a job teaching and here I am an aspiring teacher who loves helping children and has a master's degree in education and I am unable to find a job!? I should be replacing these nutjobs...
That woman is a terrible mother for having her daughter there. I also don't think that woman was lying about anything she said about her. She's been up front about everything.
@@twilacoverdalebatiedixon7921 As someone who has been clean for almost 19 years, how long have you been clean for? And hope your business is doing well
Peachy Keen I am very proud of who I am. Why should I be embarrassed? Because I am now 13 years clean? Because I finished my masters of psychology with a 4.0 GPA? Because I am almost done with my PhD maintaining a 4.0? Please tell me? What is so extraordinary about you?
In India, 6 teachers were removed from service for simply dancing in class after school hours. And in US you can snort lines between classes. I hope other countries refrain from these two extremes.
No mother who wants to put their child,s needs 1st lets their child sit and listen to that. That tells you all you need to know about her judgement and priorites.poor kid
Reading allot of the comments on here, it's good to see everyone agreeing that the daughter shouldn't have been there. Makes me feel good to know that decency still exists.
Nothing like that bonding moment when you take your 13 year old to court😂😂😂 I have a vice Judge but it’s not meth. Now I may do coke, heroin, alcohol, weed and mushrooms but meth that’s outrageous!!!
What do you mean how do you teach when you're high lol. You shouldnt be high in the first place while teaching but you'd be amazed the things people can do while under the influence.
Best way to lose a friend is to loan them money. If you must, then consider it a gift (but don't tell them). If they pay it back great! If not, it was a gift anyway.
Suing a drug addict for bail money - $3,000. Countersuing a drug addict for Christmas decorations - $3,000. Bringing in your barely-teenage daughter to court to hear mom’s meth history - PRICELESS
She is pathetic, and clearly in denial. Nobody would hang with a meth user if they weren't doing it themselves. Much respect to the defendant for being honest and getting sober.
