TEDBF may get delay but you know we may have and slight advantage by improving on the naval version of Tejas ....which will give us a slight buffer time to make TEDBF and further more we may have a functional Indian naval aircraft which is cheaper and will be a testbed for upcoming TEDBF .... I mean I just hope it works out because it's Indian Government and bureaucrat are not that functional people to be trusted ... But this government is apparentlybetter than its precursors so I believe some sort of change will come through the process.,......... God bless

I know Tejal Neville version was rejected by Navy but I am saying that if they want a bufferwe can use that Tejas never variant because it's not that useless and for the more they can use it Aster testbed for the upcoming technologies and will surely speed up the process ofafter building I know there is difference between Tejas and the upcoming aircraft that they are a single engine and that the going one is double engine....

@@sagarks6529 navy never rejected tejas coz of its compatibility or technical issues navy wanted a twin engine jet so yes for TEDBF we have experience of naval tejas i hope it won't get delayed

@kratos We can buy 4.5 gen aircraft no need to develop because navy's requirements is very less...and this is a dedicated project for navy. If navy's requirements would have 200-300 aircraft , then only project would be valuable..

Don't talk about 2032 now. The dream will take time to fill the gap. Need more development process & practical clearance all take time schedules to atleast 12 more years for induction of our own TE-Carrier based next gen Aircraft can dream on real time world possible only 2032. Thing about current scenario. The situations r going worst than ever in the oceans & sea. We need to think practically now. We have only option is to go out for procure some new naval aircraft versions. Go for RAFALE-M........ Bcz Rafale is overall best & suitable for our Indian Navy now. Bcz lighter in weight & smaller in size More compact to carriers More hard points More weapons suite More combat radius More ew suite & sensors Extended range & continues long hours of flying More cruise speed Faster rate of climbing Very important is nuclear capabilities More radar range & coverage angle More Missiles platforms Lowest RCS Better cockpit tech Intelligent friendly computer to pilots Less runway capable Most combat missions readiness Better service ceiling Low maintenance EW stealthy features Open architecture platform We can use our weapons also We hv experiences with France flying machines Easy setup to our Indian Navy platform Quickest combat deployment Low & high altitudes missions capabilities Very important is mountains sea desert & jungle warfare multirole multimissions & deep penetration strike capabilities So I prefer only Rafale to our Indian Navy now. No No No to F18/E Super Hornet forever. Note: We need a domination flying machine which the china doesn't hv any realtime mission knowledge & technology about its capacity & capabilities. So I prefer F15/EX silent eagle for Indian Air Force atleast 100.no's needed. Bcz it is more superior than any other front line fighter jets at currently scenario for multirole & air superiority dominance. I will call it a true DOMINATOR. It is a pure conqueror of entire battlefield.

I to feel the same and IAF also should consider 2 squadrons of F15 / F18 to compliment navy and to gain experience & weapons usage/servicing & infrastructure costs etc can bring down with more numbers

@kratos Mig 29 lifetime might be 2033. But by 2033 the standard of weapons n jet used by other countries will be higher. The good example s wen 27th Feb Pakistan entered our airspace wat did our air Chief and PM told. If we had Rafael the result would have been different. It's not about how long we can keep the equipment. It's about how advanced we are.
