Anybody that hits dislike , does NOT know anything about music with Body ,Soul ,Moving ,.... And making your first born to. Besides that I had the pleasure of knowing Mr Pendergrass for the last 12 years of his life .
Many singers need the studio to perform magic to make them sound good. When you sound as good live as you do in the studio, then you’re Teddy Penergrass!!! RIP

I was first turned on to Teddy P back in the late 70’s by a friend in the US Army, I never knew such music existed, my friend was a black dude, and I discovered, or rather he exposed me to a whole new world of music, he told me, this is the music you play when you take a woman on a date, well, I did, and it WAS GOOD!!!
If your alone listening this song, this will make you see the light and snap out of it. You are not the only one in this position. You are not alone remember that. You are a survivor.
I went to this concert and fell in love with him the voice the command of the stage the teeth the beard I still love him today the most handsome man I’ve ever seen ❤❤❤❤
One of the most impressive and nicest personalities ever, you made words being music...truly missed and respect the way you actually looked at life ....
I don't know if he'd be alive though as he was struck down with Cancer and didn't die due to the accident but he might have had more of a chance of beating it. But just imagine how well his career would have gone had the accident not happened.
I'm not mad at her I'm not mad at myself I turned off the lights everyday I've been married seven times so it don't matter I'm a gentleman and Scholar women love me like that
This is a good song and it relates to this time period and it is some good soul music. I grow up on this and so much more. I grow up on old school music and I am not that old. My mom and my aunt and uncle used to play this when I was growing up. I feel in love with old school music.
You know what usher could play him in a movie... usher reminds me of him..despite not having that deep voice..... I love looking at this man in his prime before the accident...he was truly one of the best....

Right on. Today's young un's don't know what they are missing. Teddy was the love of my Like you said just raw talent and groups, a few bad moves and sang their hearts out. They don't have a clue what they are missing & I can't believe it's gone for the most part.
Teddy was in that horrible car accident a few months after this 1982 performance! Little did he know that his life ( would change forever in a few months).
