Giga Texas was formally announced on 22 July and in just over a week, amazingly fast progress has already been made! This is a Bonus Footage video and companion to the 31 July 2020 video. There is a lot going on that I couldn't fit into the first video, so here's what missed the cut in the first one.

These videos are fantastic.. I've already watched them several times.. lol.. It must be so satisfying for the guys in all the trucks and excavators to be able to work at a job site this large and to be able to return such a devastated piece of land to a usable state in preparation for the coming mega construction.. The daily progress is staggering..

Thank you for your great work. I subscribed today. I've been trying to workout the dimensions of the mounds and your opening shots over the top of one off the ponds was extremely helpful. There's a shit load of soil there. Much more than I thought

Giant crane picking up a smaller crane at 4:24. Very interesting how they put asphalt down and buried it, also at 4:24. Is it asphalt or something else?

It turns out that was something called GeoTextile membranes ... I learned a bit after that video and then did a in-depth discussion of it a few videos later.

Is this topography the natural topography or was this site previously worked? Talking about the area where the mounds are.

It is a site that was previously mined for gravel to make roads, concrete and whatnot.

I'm not sure about that ... I don't see the light towers that you'd imagine would be needed to do that, so I don't think so, at least not yet. I'll try to get new video this weekend to see if they are working the weekends and will let you know.
