Game playing on the guys part is part of their process. I never play games nor am I easy to get. I want the guy who is kind, family oriented and so loving. No bad boys or game players for me. Yes! I did this and he responded with "another unicorn". I did not reply. Then he sent me a face pic 2 months later. Again, no reply. I almost responded with: "Dude, I haven't thought about you since you went away. Not gonna start now." But figured no contact was the best communication.

I had dumped a guy who moved on quickly, had a woman move in with him (I never lived with him). Two years later, I get this text asking me how am I doing.??? I didn’t recognize the number. Turns out, his new lady dumped him and moved out within four months. I figure he was alone on some Friday night and texted me for validation or something. Not a chance in hell I was interested. Early December I also got a call from a former man-friend that had put me on the back burner. (The way I see it now.) I had been talking to a guy for about a month only via text, but we would talk everyday. Not just the "good morning, good night" texts but good conversation even in the middle of the day when we were working. But I noticed he was going too heavy too fast saying thing like "he got my back" and that hes "proud of me" for some accomplishments I shared with him. He hasn't even heard my voice or seen my face yet lol. But after a month I noticed that he was taking longer to respond but instead of right away it was a few hours, so not that big of a deal. But after watching this vid I realized he only called me by my name once. I had a feeling he was back on the dating site I met him on and this just confirms to me that his intentions were not right even though he said he liked me and wanted to potentially date me. I wanted to ghost him so badly but also wanted to be mature about the situation so I wrote him a long text to explain what I didnt like about the situation and why i just need to focus on work right now. Its been a month after and nothing from him. Great! Be gone with him! Ladies follow your gut, its usually right!

If you have to understand if he's into you by his texes and not by he's actions, he's into you PERIOD. A guy who is interested in a relationship don't spend his time texting, but going out with you.
I've been dating a guy for 6 years he has only taken me out twice in all this time met hime in 2015 he lied about his name & everything 3 years in to this relationship I found out through his driving licence he wasnt paul Scott but marc jung he had me calling hime paul for 3 years he never told me why he lied to me & my grown up adults he never stayed the night never stayed at mine his mobile was never around always on hime or he used to leave it in his car hes told me he is single but he never stays in contact knowing I live on my own i totally do everything for hime but I don't get to have hime with me like it should be he says he's working yet never rings me to ask how I am if he does he will ring on the day he comes to pop round while his in the car he will ring me or when hes out some where he never picks me up in the car to take me out he hasn't taken me to meet any of his family or friends i don't know any one who knows marc jung he says he lives in plastow i don't know i live in dagenham essex it's not that far to see me he hasn't been in touch with me for a good few days I have with hime I always text marc his texes are short & cold to me he has never been open to me 6years together he hasn't shown me anything .sharon deer vs marc jung .
So I’m confused this guy is so inconsistent with texts but when I see him 1x a week we have a blast, no sex, he makes the next date and asks about my schedule, but then our texts are so lame.. but then again I’m like well we aren’t committed we’ve gone out 3 times… I ignore him until he creates more initiation with text. @@Celebrityplusone You might just be dating someone who values in person connection over text banter. If he's taking you out and you guys have a blast, that's great BUT if you also want to text someone you like throughout your day to feel some kind of connected to them, that's totally normal too. You can have both, a guy who'll text you in between dates and an amazing connection in real life. Ask yourself if insecurity is playing a role here too. I've had a woman in my life where I was showing up with efforts of interest well beyond just texting (although I texted her every day) and she still dropped me because I was "inconsistent" but it was really insecurity.
@@BrandonThe1nr it wasn’t something I really liked, he never asked me how I was doing and would get defensive why I asked the change in pace. So he decided to end the courtship after 2 dates, if he has no patience and quick to be defensive because i was asking about a change in the communication that’s not someone I’d want to continue dating. Our styles just seem to be too different and that’s ok, I need a little more consistency, someone who wants to know how my day was etc. So lesson learned! Thanks for the great response!
I honestly feel like dating is such a mission. It's always a mis-match. Either I find him attractive but we don't click or we click but am not attracted to him. Finding both those qualities is something I rarely encounter. I feel like at this point I'll never find the one. :(
When a guys disappears for awhile, (ghosts) or generally proves himself to not be the real deal. I just block him. This way I never get that random message months later for someone whose contact I deleted and legit don’t know who they are. No FOMO here. They’ve already proved theres nothing I would be missing out on
Don't sleep with these guys!! These guys will reveal their true intentions, but you have to keep your legs closed. You don't need to sleep with a guy to figure out that most of them, as in 99% of them who approach you, only want the sex, only to discard you later, but they are not going to just ask you for that because they know you'd say no. No need to get your heart broken repeatedly, stay off you back while dating, I guarantee you will see red flags more clearly. And don't let a guy PRESSURE YOU into having sex. I try to avoid being alone with a guy, either at his place my place, and I NEVER tell them where I live; especially since my last date was a stalker. They may seems sweet at first, but trust me, that is a coverup!!

Sad to say men act the same as they did forty years ago when I was dating as an adult. Back then it was the phone, not texting. Never addressing you by name or even saying your name was a sure sign that his feelings were elsewhere. You'd think that four decades of women who put up with this crud when they were dating would push them to raise their sons to be more considerate humans.
He never really complimented me on my sewing skills, asked about my adoption story, or my visit to the childrens home last year in india, he never asked about my mom Who has cancer, he never asked about my work as socialworker, he never really asked about my feelings. Like he simply didnt care.

Long paragraphs about him wanting me to go to Africa right from the start... then a message sent to me only a few days after this introduction (sent at 2 am in my time zone) "Hey, Mandy. Could you load me some money? My landlord wants to kick me out and I just got a new job but can't afford rent. I only need about $390." I told him I thought that was really rude and I blocked him! the mistaken identity has happened to me multiple times!!! The guy had asked multiple questions he had asked previously and he forgot he had asked and what my answers were. I called him out on it and jokingly said, you must be talking to a bunch of people and he laughed it off. I didn't continue seeing him just because I'd like more effort into paying attention to details about me
I just stopped talking to a guy because of texting. I'd repeatedly stated that I prefer talk over text. I was also tired of the "wyd" texts that he considered as "daily contact".

Yeah, they're almost every other profile. One popular back story lately has been that they were (where I live) just a few weeks ago and would like to stay there forever. Currently working on a cargo ship heading for India and will be back in two weeks. I assume - had the conversation continued - that they would soon have a mishap that would require money. Four different profiles had this story in just a few weeks! Strangely enough they never seemed to know where in my city they had been or if any of the travel restrictions here due to covid. Haha!
I got love bombed by a guy. He would text me everyday and respond immediately for at least 2 months. I already thought it was too good to be true. Turns out it was. He slowly started pulling away when he realised I'm not willing to get physical with someone I barely know. And in hindsight he kept things superficial by not letting me know too much about him. He also didn't ask me much about me. It was always me trying to get to know him better🙄
Receiving good morning and good night texts like they are like some sort of formula he has in his mind in how to get a relationship established...where it doesn’t feel like genuine interest/connection

If you have to question if he likes you, he doesn't! No need to spend time deciphering his text messages, it'll be obvious. Hot and cold behavior most likely means he never really expressed signs of interest, but you were reading into his niceness because you liked him. I was amazed to find out how many guys actually thought I liked them just by my being nice.
Ryan Patrick, 100% spot on. Met a PhD online, after a couple dates (no sex) he went to texting only (always at night and in the morning). His text never used my name, talked about "what an amazing woman I am" would go on about things going in his life with a sob story here and there. Thanks for the info. It hurt, but he's history!

Then he sms me every day "how are you doing" "do you miss me" two weeks after, he doesn't sms me anymore, doesn't accept my sms to break up. But when he can talk to me he always focus on himself. He's boring and never asks me any question...
I got the hey baby so much I wondered if he forgot my name. He Always just wanted to hang out at my place. The amount of excuse this guy had was endless. He would say he cared about me and wanted to take me out but stood me up twice. He is the poster boy for this one.

Gave up a long time ago, but men keep showing interest. It's good to know their tactics though because I do have some male friends (I'm an artist/creator/collaborator), and often men approach me in the shops, on transit, or just out in public generally, heck even some of my neighbors have shown interest (maybe it's feigned 🤷♀️). Maybe one day a man with real, true intentions will appear and I'll be wise enough to know/see the difference. I'm fiercely independent, and frankly, enjoying my life and freedom to do as I please. And ladies, this poor behavior is not limited by age. At just past mid century, I can tell you that they come in all age ranges!

Love this list, especially the one about future fakers! I have come across guys who wanna sell me a dream but I'm well aware talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words. I've also come across guys who either I cut off or they drop off and months later want to see if I'll still respond to their "hey, how ru?" messages. They don't want to know how I am, they want an ego boost! I guess in a lot of ways this boils down to maturity levels. A guy who's sincere and honest will be sincere and honest and not play childish games or string you along. I found when I'm really clear on my own motivations and intentions I have zero tolerance for this kind of behaviour and it's far easier to spot and eradicate.

I had a hilarious situation recently where a guy I'd spoken to for a day or so on a chat platform msged me after months, and when I asked if he even knew who I was, he insisted we'd slept together and kept trying to tell me all the details, all of which were wrong 😂 after telling him so, he was like "well do you want to catch up again?" ("again"?! We've never met!!) I said no. He finished the chat by saying "you look great with shorter hair" (in my profile pic my hair is the longest it's ever been). Lol.... Fiction can be fun. 😂 Bye boy!
I was talking to this guy for about a week, when he inadvertently sent another woman's dating profile pic to me(pof dating pic) , while we were chatting . He obviously thought he was sending this to one of his friends for some kind of gratification I am assuming.., but it was sent to me instead. So I responded, " Oh wow she is very beautiful ". He then said that this was his cousin that just passed away in a terrible car accident. So I said " why are you sending me a pic of a woman clearly from a dating site profile? ( Because it had her location, age, etc on the screenshot.. lol) This said woman ended up being a co-workers close friend from asking my girlfriend at work, that is clearly alive and well... BUSTED.. Seriously this is the BS that happens. Yes, I am good on my own, guys talk about drama women bring.. nope... no thanks!! Good on my own.. P.S. I love this community we have here to enlighten each other on what happens in dating 2021.

Hi Ryan, I’ve been seeing this over the past week! This guy has done all the lousy things you are referring to. First text did include my name but he didn’t include his, weird! Then he sent me 4 pics that were mirrored on the site. I thought that was strange. My gut told me it was off from the beginning. From there, he sent the good morning sunshine & good night sweetheart stuff. I played along, started the text with his name & ended with my name. Then I asked him how long he had been divorced. He said about 5 years. That must have threw him off because from there, he slowed way down. All of this within a week. I have never initiated contact & at this point not even sure if he will ask me out. It’s pretty strange to l waste so much time on this nonsense. Ryan, this was spot on! You really have a handle on this dating crap. I’m pretty much over all of it. I’ve only been on-line for 3 months. Thanks for your awesome information!

I have learned SO much from watching your videos. I have been single for 2 1/2 years after a 23 year marriage. I'm months away from turning 50, and I have had so many dating fails that even my therapist tells me that my stories are the highlight of his week. Family and friends have told me that I should write a book or start a blog. What a sad reality...lol. I'm just glad my stories entertain others. Haha!
