I remember playing Black Licorice when I was 7 or so. I always tried to avoid the licorice, but sometimes the pieces would sit OVER the caramels, so I had no choice but to give them out. I always had to run out of the room every time I did that. Too scary for me!

I vaguely remember playing The Black Licorice during the mid 2000s. Gosh, those gave me flash backs of nightmares. Also, has anyone played that game where you in a family dinner? Everybody stares at you and you can move each dish to each members. I dont remember what the goal was, but i remembered there was a game over scene where you see their shadows on the wall, fighting or eating aggressively while hearing some strange noises.

I remember playing this game with my cousin all the time and we got scared as hell

I believe there's a Black Licorice reference in a more recent game, as well. I don't remember too much about it, and it was years ago, but here's what I know: The premise of the game was that a bunch of trick-or-treaters are coming to your house for candy. It, surprisingly, took a bit of a "fnaf" gameplay aspect, as you are standing in your house and can only look right or left to answer the front and back doors, respectively. A doorbell sound for the front, a knock for the back. If a Nickelodeon character came to your door, you gave them "good" candy. If a real monster shows up, you give them... wait for it... black licorice. I don't remember the name of the game, and it may not even be accessible anymore (again, if my memory serves me right, it was years ago), but I definitely remember it existing in some form at some point. Go through the list of Nick halloween games, and you may find it.

this is so wild. these flash games had been completely wiped from my memory until i saw the thumbnail for this video and they all came flooding back. i remember the sound effects and the "game mechanics" and oh man it takes me way back. i saw the thumbnail and was just struck with the most severe case of deja vu i've ever had. crazy stuff. i remember there was one where you made krabby patties i think? i played that one for so long lmao

Oh gosh, Black Licorice scared me so much when I first saw it as a kid, I IMMEDIATELY exited out of the tab when I first saw one of those creepy faces.

Imagine this: _It's the middle of the night. You wake up to see that your computer is on, and is in the Nick website. Then, the Black Licorice game starts, but it starts with one of the kids' scary faces._

I remember an old holloween clickamagig where you’re in a witch’s house and are messing with their cauldron. There are a bunch of different items, like eyeballs, lizards and other gross stuff. Whenever you add items and select the mix button, it just gives you a random simple event, like a litte boat floating in the cauldron before being taken by a tentacle, or a monster eye appearing out of the cauldron to look directly at you, before returning to it’s gooey home. It seemed simple enough, but there was a spellbook beside the cauldron that showed you how to make a complex spell, the only thing was that it only played noises that were the noises of the items that you hear when you hover over them, plus the list was very long, so it was very difficult to do. Strangely enough, my younger brother managed to do the conplex spell without ever realizing it. And what we got was... a puppy in a little dino costume. We thought that was it until some text appeared above the dog that was really tiny, like “have to get really close to the screen” tiny. I think it said “completed the spell, you dared, now be wary for a scare!” But before we finished reading it, there was a flash and a monsterous growl, as the puppies head transformed into a grotesque monster head, with multiple eyes, large, misshapen teeth, and a long twisted tongue. All the eyes looking in every different direction, until they all center on the camera, or more specifically, you. The monster dog turns right towards the camera with it’s deformed mouth wide open, revealing even more nasty teeth, before lunging right towards the screen, and everything going black, with a text appearing saying “i hope you liked your new pet, because he enjoyed you, Happy Halloween!” That was so messed up, even for past nickelodeon. And i’m pretty sure that game gave my younger brother nightmares, cause it sure did for me.

This is so spooky. I remember playing the gum chewing alien one with a friend when I was younger but I had no recollection of where we had played it. I wasn't even entirely sure that it even existed, maybe it had just been a false memory. When the video started up I started to think that maybe it had been a Nick clickamajig all along - and my question was quickly answered. Thanks for helping resolve a memory that's been puzzling me for years!

Okay, I never even went onto the Nickelodeon site as a kid, so I'm learning about these for the first time right now as an adult without any influence from childhood memories, and I have to say, that's genuinely terrifying!
