Idk, I'd say it's canon-canon. There's lots of little references to Sophia and her family being involved with the mafia/mafia-like activities throughout the series.
Fun fact: In some kind of throwback tv special I saw on RU-vid, it was revealed that that calendar Blanche gave the girls actually had actual spicy pictures in them of actual crew members of the show. Crew members in their underwear in suggestive poses, performing suggestive acts, you name it. The special also included footage of the actresses reacting to the calendar. As you can imagine, they were laughing their lungs out.
My favorite episode of The Golden Girls is “Mrs. George Devereaux,” S6E9. It successfully pulls off the “it was all a dream” trope with a satisfying conclusion. I’d love to hear your opinion on that episode and that cliche. Keep up the great work!
Fun fact: Those calendars actually had pictures of the crew members in sexy Santa outfits. If you look for making of specials for the show, you can probably come across footage of them laughing hysterically at them.

My favorite part of this episode of the Golden Girls was the prank the male crew members played on the girls by posing as the sexy male calendar models.
Please review “A Little Romance” It’s one of my all-time favorite episodes and I think Blanche has some of her funniest lines here. Also the actor who plays Jonathan is amazing and I wish he was in the series more then just one episode.
My personal favorite Golden Girls episode is "Til Death Do We Volley" It's a bit outlandish, but all 4 of the cast get some great lines that are so perfect for their characters.

Thank you! One of my favorite episodes is "Home Again Rose" where Rose has a dream: Three of them are cryogenic frozen, but only their heads. Sophia is the only one with a full body. Bit cheesy especially with definitions of family. . . .
I would love to see you tackle the episode Old Friends where Sophia befriends a man with dementia. I think it shows a more caring and compassionate side to her that we don't normally see. When we think of Sophia, we think of the tough as nails Italian grandma that wouldn't hesitate to put a Sicilian curse on you. That episode always tugs at my heartstrings because it makes Sophia see that she could be in a lot worse circumstances as she grows older. I absolutely love when you do these episodes. Keep them coming in the future and have yourself a very Merry Holiday!
Step Into Christmas, that is some amazing taste Roses! When I was little I used to listen to my mom's Christmas music CD with headphones on throughout the holiday seasons, and this specific song would get a ton of repeats, to the point I would often fall asleep to it. Definitely my favorite holiday song!

With your comment about "home for the holidays", an episode of Frasier came to mind. Season 1, episode 12: Miracle on Third or Fourth Street. I think it's fantastic, but I am also a Frasier fanatic. Somewhat unrelated, Sophia reminds me of Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies.
Please do more Golden Girls. When I was a younger man I watched this show with a girlfriend all the time and I loved it so much. It's very nice to hear a good take on it from somebody else's POV.

I need to watch more episodes of the Monkees. If you ever have the ability to do it, the fractured fairytales episode where Mike dresses up as the princess is one of my favorites. And I I love certain lines from them. There’s also one with her in a haunted house and Peter’s finger is loaded. I may just personally adore the Monkees.

SAME for Muppets family Christmas and the Garfield Christmas episode. Both my husband and I have always watched the Garfield episode and then two years ago my childhood fur baby and his grandma past away days apart at the end of November and now it makes us both think of them and tear up to see the scene with the grandma and Garfield sitting in the rocking chair.
My friend in college had all the DVD sets of Golden Girls and would put them on when we were pulling all-nighters working on projects... these videos always bring back those memories. I need to watch the show beginning to end one of these days... Thanks for the great vids!

Step Into Christmas plays often around Christmas in my area. At least once a day on the one station that will play a Christmas songs for 24 hours straight until December 26th.

I've been telling people that the only Christmas music I can stand is Ella Fitzgerald's album 'Ella Wishes You A Swinging Christmas', but I forgot that do have a couple of Christmas songs I like - Last Christmas (Wham!) and Christmas Wrapping (The Waitresses, not the cover by the Spice Girls).

You turned me on to the Bertram Fiddle games which I promptly got on the Switch as soon as I could, but on the same day I came across a pixel mystery/horror/inventory object puzzle game that just came out on Dec. 6th! It's called Breathing Fear, and while I haven't figured out much of the mystery yet I really liked it for being non-linier, it has no saves so it's all in one go, and the pixel art is so cool! 😍 I'm really into it, more people should check it out!
