Here after Game 4 of the Bucks-Heat series. Honestly, I'm waiting for the video you're gonna make after that series because, OH BOY, are things looking BAD for them.
14 points each for Jrue and Khris. Absolute fraudwatch numbers. Giannis got himself a 26 point triple double. And this series loss is still going to be blamed on Giannis despite him missing three games, guaranteed. Unless he pulls off a miracle for the next three games in a row, this series is over. F in chat for the Greek Freak, but Jimmy Buckets is the definition of a play off riser, and oh boy, dropping 51 points on the league's best defenders proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Eighth seeded team in the regular season, but they're a conference finals threat whenever Jimmy chooses to show up like he just did. Very close game, shout out to Brook Lopez, he went nuts this game too, but the Bucks just completely collapsed in the fourth quarter, and it's a shame.
@@GeorgePerakis his leadership should shine through, though. Y’all same people be hating on Jokić for being literally the only competent player on the Nuggets these past couple seasons and putting the entire franchise on his back only to lose to the eventual champs. Will Barton was his best teammate one of those years due to injuries. Will. Barton. Giannis has a winning team in the regular season without being on the floor and they’re about to lose to the Heat. That’s a leadership issue in both coaching and Giannis’s case. It’s not his team. The argument for them losing because Giannis isn’t there is simply garbage. The Heat are down Herro and Oladipo, and they’re still up. The Bucks have three All-Defensive players, two with Giannis out, alongside multiple All-NBA players, and they’re getting outscored by Jimmy Butler + role players. That is absolutely atrocious. It’s Giannis’s fault, alongside the coaching and his teammates being frauds. I like Giannis as a person, he seems very nice and humble. But what’s happening is simply inexcusable, especially due to the criticism that guys like Jokić unfairly get.
@Naaman Rivera bruh some of what you say makes sense, some, no sense at all. Will Barton was the second best player on the Nuggets for a while, but only because Jamal Murray has been dealing with serious injuries for a bit. also, lets not shit on Will Barton. he a baller. the Bucks have shown their true colors multiple times in the playoffs. even when the whole team is healthy, the only consistent performer on the Bucks is Giannis. its always been that way. unlike Jokic, Giannis does not have a Jamal Murray to lean on. despite what he says in post press conferences and interviews, he knows he can't trust his teammates. the man has crazy work ethic, inspires confidence, and has been patient with his team, but the truth is, the Bucks aren't much at all without him. take last postseason for example. when the Bucks played the Celtics, Giannis averged 34pts, 14.7rebs, and 7ast a game and still lost. i remember in game 6, he dropped 44 & 20 and still lost. he can only do so much. so this is not on Giannis. man suffered a back injury, and came back to ball before recovering. his teammates must be better. thats all there is to it.
@@eazzii_m5408 nah man the bucks are a deep, well rounded team. jrue and khris have stepped up in the playoffs time after time. but giannis deserves no scrutiny for potentially losing to the heat. Giannis missed most of the series, khris hasn't been the same since his injury, jimmy put up an absolute masterclass to put miami up 3-1 and jokic gets crticized because he hasnt done anything since murray was dropping 50s and 40s in the bubble whereas giannis has already proven himself as a champion.
At least from a sixers fan standpoint, I wouldn’t say from my point of view that we are denying the amount of pressure is on this team. In fact, we are putting on them more than anyone. I think one thing that’s different is a lack of insanity from our side that we will make the run. We know it’s very much an uphill battle so we’re just being quieter than usual
Shout-out to Legend of Winning for finally getting his flowers in this community been around for almost ten years and he's only just now getting 300k is crazy
@@poppatheegoat thats in the past lmao. Today is today. His team is healthy, they were the first seed and hes won back to back mvps and a finalist for this year. They have no reason to not win.
@@thebiggestgamer but yall expect his team to come back healthy first year in make the nba finals?? Now I see if they was there and they was losing like Joel and his sidekick was playing and his team was losing . I still think going to probably make western conference finals
broski really put the sixers as a risk for getting bounced in the first round when the sixers bounced the nets in 4 games, didnt talk about trae young at all, and puts the warriors at risk for losing... lmfao this guy
Well the Sixers were unserious the warriors came close to losing to the kings and then got cooked by the lakers and trae young’s 7 seed hawks have expectations?
If the Nuggets don’t make the finals it won’t be world-ending for the team but, it’ll probably bring up discussion about moving on from MPJ or Jamal Murray (possibly both).
murray scored 40 he has 5 40+ playoff games and has never been an allstar he is fine. Gordon is a very good defensive guy. most criticism will be on jok if he cant make the finals after winning 2 mvps without ever leading a 60 win team(nuggets were projected for 60 coming into the season) and finally having a healthy team and mpj will probably be on the trade block.
@@TheFrede2300 I don’t think Dame would be the move at this point, unless they could get him for fairly cheap. They don’t have a lot of draft capital and ideally you’d like to keep Murray or MPJ
I’m very nervous for Boston, I can’t lie they are so deep and I’m mad we couldn’t make moves for someone like Derrick White. But yea I agree that we have to make a lot of noise and usually I would just be cautious for the Celtics matchup bc they are a better overall team and we seem to struggle against them, but since we lost to Atlanta when everyone was say “oh yea so Sixers vs Bucks” and then to go 7 games and loss to them, I didn’t even say we would get past Brooklyn for sure, even though that’s what I thought. All that to say if we beat Boston I think we can go all the way as long as no one chokes.
Need a knicks video already. Went from the worst team organization for 20 YRS, to now having 2 all-stars, loaded with young talent, and a ton of first rd picks. Also amazing at drafting and developing!
Not bad, it did start off for me, as another tech boy trying to influence NBA fans, but as it went on you laid down a lot of info and perspective, that rounded out and supported the early statements 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
this guys channel would be even more popular if he held his pride and uploaded videos on a consistent basis. Believe me I know it hurts when your fav team or player lebron loses.
I still don’t get how some people don’t consider curry top 10 already. He revolutionized the game, 4x champ, 2x mvp, 2x scoring champ, etc. I do feel like for many people there is a bias against shorter players (players under 6ft 6in) in regard to their impact on the game. Many people tend to look at dominance in terms of the physical ability of a player that makes them unstoppable, whereas players that had nonstandard dominant abilities (shooting, passing) are overshadowed and sometimes downplayed. This is just an opinion so I hope it doesn’t offend anyone, but I do believe that we as fans need to further develop the idea of “dominance”. Great video!
MJ, LeBron, Magic, Bird, Duncan, Kobe, Shaq, Wilt, Kareem, Russell. It’s very hard to be considered Top 10 All time. Curry, KD, Hakeem, personally I think have a case be top 10. However I have to imagine that the 3-1 Blown lead in the finals hurts curry
@@Komo47 People that put Wilt in the top 10 are corny af, get that flat track bully the fuck outta there. Also imagine putting KD at the same level as Curry, the guy that has twice as many rings, MVPs and cooked him when they played in the playoffs.
@@Komo47 and kds arrival. He wins 4 rings without kd and doesn't blow the 3:1 lead and has more than 1 fmvp and we're having a total different conversation
Tragic Johnson anyone? 2011 LeBron? People don't know their history, but quick to hit what they know. Magic is top 10, but Curry 3-1 is the be all end all to him. Give me a break.
Jokic better get to at LEAST the WCF. You can’t have 2 MVPs and dudes saying your the best on the planet and you literally haven’t sniffed a finals appearance.
Last time he had a healthy team he did go to the WCF, this year I think they should make finals if the bench doesn't break under pressure. Like in game 4 where his team left Jokic to take all the offensive load.
@@Trvllumanati they’re two best players out and every game coming down to a couple shots. Now the nuggets have a two time maybe three mvp with a great supporting cast they should be able to beat them
A lot of teams have to perform in these playoffs because for a lot of teams this is their best chance to win it all like the suns, sixers, Celtics and others. These playoffs are gonna be interesting.
I want to say no, but curry is playing better than he ever has, and if he gets another one playing at this level, yeah we’re gonna have to have an uncomfortable conversations about where curry actually ranks
@@billzglo_1 Until the Clippers beat the Lakers in the play offs, Clippers own nothing. So far, all Clippers prove is they're a good regular season team. That's it kid.
yall terrible have a mickey mouse ring and went through memphis who is missing half their roster and ja is hurt . another reason why laker fans are just insufferable rats
You really don't know why there's a growing voice of dissension in the nba community about Nikola jokic? Boston is under pressure if they don't win it all because they've been to the finals and had the opportunity to add Durant. Philly is under pressure because of their multiple stories going on but Embiid in particular has to get out of the 2nd round. But Denver can get away with not making a deep run because the team is young? #1 seed in the west, led by the 2x mvp that you've stated should be getting his 3rd. His 2nd and 3rd options on the team combined for 40 ppg. They're healthier than most teams right now. They should have the most pressure on them this season.
Suns = depth Nuggets = defensive 76ers = will Joel and harden step up when it matter ? Lakers = will they guard step up and help bron and ad? And ad health Grizzlies = stop playing Dillion brooks he a great defender but offense is trash Kings = defense Clippers = health Boston = idk Bucks = will Khris go back to his old self ? Heats = offense, where is they offense when Jimmy take a break? , bam not being aggressive hawks = need a lot so
well, his defense is good, but not against a great offence player like lebron. but keep in mind there are people in the league who are bad at offence but can lock down the lukas, jokics, lebrons etc. brooks can play good defense on a 3rd-4th option, but is failing against lebron.
@@Nenser as a heat fan injured our downfall. Losing herro , victor is tuff and bam not being aggressive Only hope is Jimmy Bam offense need to improve plus like he not aggressive But now we up 3-1 shid when bucks was winning by like 15 I thought it was over ngl Jimmy was looking tired asf .
It doesn’t make sense for the sixers to have the most pressure when the two best teams are in the same conference and will be favored over them😂😂😂. Harden literally never had a championship roster and he had to face the the warriors ??? He averaged 28.2 in the postseason. He average 35 on 44/36/84 against them in 2019 and 30 against the lakers on 50/38/84. He supposed to beat the warriors with Patrick Beverly, Corey brewer, injrued cp3, injured Dwight? Why is he only tasked to beat the better teams with no help?
I don’t understand the Joel Embiid and Devin Booker criticism. I know you mentioned whether Booker can be the best player on a championship level team, but even when they made it to the finals, Booker was the only player that could consistently score at least 25 points in a game. And I personally don’t think he got enough credit for how he played in that series.
You are very right. I really do like Jokic and his game, but I do feel he needs another super star to play with, and I'm not sure he has that in Denver. His story is amazing. A mid 2nd round draft pick selected as an afterthought who was given his number to spite a hall of fame superstar exiting in free agency rising to become a 2 time MVP and the most efficient and effective player all around in NBA history. That's legendary and inspiring. I do feel Denver needs to cash in some chips with the young supporting cast or trade him to a contender with assets for him to finally win a Chip. Maybe a trade for Jaylen Beown or trading him to Miami does it for him. That's just my thoughts. I would love him in Purple and Gold, but I don't see that happening without sending AD back the other way, and I think that would hurt the Lakers brand of taking care of its stars as I don't think AD would want to be traded anywhere other than his home town Bulls.
I'm just glad the Knicks are in the playoffs Jalen Brunson has been a godsend for the team the defense is great and this team dare i say can make a deep playoff run
I know LOW is a Laker homer, but why the hell is he trying to slip the Lakers in anywhere near either MIIL or GS? Losing would absolutely be a big deal for the Lakers as the biggest question surrounding the LeBron/AD era was whether or not the Bubble ring was legit. Obviously its not, but we need to see AD be the first option for at least ONE deep run for the Lakers! The Lakers belong at best next to the Suns and Clippers: teams overcommitting for championship windows by sacrificing young players. Can't argue if you think one ring (a heavily asterisked one at that) places the Lakers next to literal dynasty in the Warriors or a growing one in Milwaukee, because I just don't think you're arguing in good faith. Anyway, losing won't mean much for the Warriors, Bucks, or Nuggets. Those are teams either chasing legacies or on the path a creating one with a franchise centerpiece near guaranteed to compete long term. Losing might be a blow it up for Boston, Miami, or Philly. Too many questions surrounding either franchise pieces, supporting casts, and even front offices and coaching. A ring might stop the noise. No ring with only make it louder. Losing is absolutely a sports hate crime if you're the Lakers, Suns, or Clippers. I'm counting the Clippers. There's only so many times the injury bug can hit before that's just who your team is.
:27 in you say the regular season dragged on last 15 games, maybe if you were in the East. The west 4-12 were scrambling even the last 5 games. The mavs with 10 games left looked like an easy lock, and then missed the play-in by a game. The lakers who were at 12th, moved to 7th. The west was crazy this year for the regular season.
Giannis is already in top 15-20 talks. Sure another one here may solidify him in the top 10-15 range but there is another Buck who has more to gain than him. With how important he was to their first championship run, Jrue Holiday can make a very good case as a Hall of Famer if he reprises that same value in another championship run given his reputation amongst his peers as the best defensive guard of his era. I would say Jrue going from the Hall of Really Good to the Hall of Fame is more of a jump than Giannis going from top 15-20 to top 10-15.
Just been getting the feeling a favorite bias with you talk up jokic but talk down Embiid. I am a biased 76ers fan but I thin with the bucks on the brink of an an upset loss 76ers have the talents and match up to see a finals birth
I'm a Kings fan, but a first round exit would not be a disappointment for me and nor should it be considered so by anyone. This playoff push is playing with house money. No one thought they would be this good and most agree they still need one more piece before they fully become legit "contenders."
SANE!! GSW are arguably the "2nd seed" based on experience. SAC are the "7th" seed, based on missing the playoffs for 16yrs Two home wins on the defending Champs is a respectable return to the Playoffs...
I agree 100% on the Chris Paul take, it’s hard to see him as he is now Vs the player I watched him as the majority of his career to this point. It’s like with Steve nash low key
Its really a curse for the clippers. Even without PG, this year, with the level of mvp Westbrook, they had a legit chance for at least a conf finals. and somehow they loose kawhi after an insane game 1
I think you should’ve replaced the clippers with the Knicks. They have potential to make a run in the East. Highly Underrated. My only concern is with RJ Barrett.
Honestly if the Sixers lose to Boston they deserve all the slander. You're telling me Joel Embiid deserved MVP in one of, if not both of the last 2 seasons and can't beat Boston when he's the best player of the series? If he's that deserving of the title he deserves those expectations
no one expects philly to beat boston lmao and sure joel is the best player in the series but your making it sound like its a huge gap lmao, are you forgetting that tatum owns embiid? he outperformes him most of the time they play but thats jus my take
As a Harden fan I dont think he can this year. 60 point triple double Harden left Houston too late and had his mobility sapped by the condensed season.
@@bobharley1 We don’t even need 60 point triple double Harden, we just need to beat the Celtics then we should be able to beat the Heat in ECF but realistically we’re second round exits
If Jokic hadn't won the last 2 MVPs, I think he would have a great chance to be in the running to be a unanimous MVP. That's how good he's been. Unfortunately most of the discourse has been "That's who you want to get 3 straight?" or "He's not even top 10 in scoring", or "He's already got 2, let's just give it to the other guy", which are all such horrible and laughable takes. I personally don't think he shoulda won last year, with the Nuggets being 6th and his numbers being historic more on the advanced stats than the trad stats, but there shouldn't be a question for it this year. 1st in the west, 2nd in the league, and 25, 10 and 10 on CRAZY high efficiency. It shouldn't even be a debate, and it wasn't until a certain racist had to come in lol
@@lisaprice7189 He basically was considered unanimously the MVP for most of the season. He probably wouldn't have gotten it yeah, but the nuggets were the 38-18 at the trade deadline, which is only 1 game worse than the Celtics who led the league then. The West got considerably stronger since the deadline so the Nuggets keeping the first seed definitely helped his case. Giannis and Embiid do have strong cases, and if Jokic passed the eye test on defense, there would be no question who the MVP is imo, but you can't deny that he's probably gonna lose the MVP this year because certain racist media members wanted to change the narrative for one reason or another
The advanced stat argument is contradicted solely due to the different eras. In the early 2000's players did not put up the numbers that they do today. You have to compare true shooting percentage relative to other players in that season... "relative true shooting" for example. Jokic had the best True shooting season ever im pretty sure like 68% this year. but realistically he's not actually the most efficient scorer ever. Like back in the day Kobe shooting 45% percent on any shot, at any time, contested asf, that was the efficient offense. MJ 48% for a career in the playoffs so its just the difference in eras, I agree stats should only be relative to that season.
“If lebron takes a seventh seeded team to the finals and wins the championship while being the best on that team he would be my goat.” We got it on tape yall boys no excuses 😂
If Westbrick’s MVP title aged like milk left in the car, Jokic’s triple MVPs are gonna age like dead fish if he gets knocked out in the second round and/or fails to win it this year.
Try to make sense!! OKC - 6th seed at full strength DEN- 6th seed undermanned, 1st seed at full strength Jokic double digit reminds as a center =/= Russ not contesting perimeter shots as a guard so he can float for defensive rebounds. Jokic ain't about to be on 5 teams on 4 years 😊
@@darrengordon-hill yeah but if he doesn't get a championship, his titles will age badly. What type of triple MVP isn't able to win a championship with healthy team. That's my point
Embiid at the very worst is conference finals in 7. That mf is a monster, I have no doubt in his talent. Unless a freak injury happens I think he can out skill the Celtics roster depth. And I’ve still got Brown on fraud watch, he’s been scaring me in all the wrong ways
I think the Nuggets have the biggest need for a deep run. He is same age as Giannis, with nothing close to same playoff success. I think Nuggets need to at minimum make the conference finals, anything less would be a complete failure barring some major injuries.
