Mate has a 400BHP MK3 Cavalier SRI, 2.3 Saab Engine Transplant. He built it in 2008 long before everyone got on the Saab Engine Transplant scene. His is a bit different though as it runs Trionic 7 Management and a TD05 Turbo...Even uses the Saab centre console with Saab key. Bet he built it for around the £5K mark.

Sick! I had a Saab Aero that used to go really well and had similar sounds. Gotta watch oil sludge. A clogged up oil mesh pick-up screen will cause the engine a world of hurt. Keep your oil new(regular changes) and clean and your oil pick-up mesh cleaner.

Built my b204 calibra in 2014. Paid 220 for a full 900 turbo. Had all running gear and brakes off it and weighed shell in for 110. Must have cost me about 3 or 4 hundred max to get it on the road.

This is a great build looks insane sure goe,s well .

Got a astra mk3 that i bought for 550 euro's my best mate arranged me a Saab with the b234R engine for only 100 euro's with mapped ecu at 285bhp. Still got some parts in my stock pile to improve handling and braking. Need some small parts to freshen up the engine and it's all go for 1000 euro's! at 300bhp. 😂
