Thank you! Thank you! Not just for the video in general, but, specifically, for the last bit at the end. I had a friend who was sexually assaulted by a date in high school. On the less horrible side, she said that at least she knew who it was and wasn't always looking at every man wondering, "was it him? Was it him?" She chose not to go to the police, the boy was a local sports star and she was unlikely to be believed. I fully supported whatever decision she made. Then another friend found out and said that she should have went to the police so that he would not do it to anyone else. I saw red!! It is NEVER incumbent upon a victim to keep the predator from committing future crimes. It seems that in 2019 we shouldn't have to say that, but say it we must. Shout it from the rooftops if we have to. If a victim wants to report, be a friend and hold their hand from the moment they walk into the police station, through the trial and definitely be there for everything that comes after. Remember, just because a person is found guilty (hopefully) doesn't mean that the victim is just going to go back to how they were before. Often, the upheaval of reporting and the resulting trial (hopefully) keep the person from processing the trauma. So, even though it may have been a few months to more than a year since the crime, you may see the person acting in ways and experiencing the emotions as if it happened yesterday. Just be there, drive them to therapy appointments or support group meetings or whatever "help" looks like for them, but encourage them to get help. Don't assume that once they have chosen the method of help that works best for them that your job is over, they are going to need you for the long haul. No one will blame you if you are not sure you want to sign up for long, late night phone calls, hearing the same thing over and over again as they process the trauma, lots and lots of tears and a boatload of time that will be spent in a lot of unfun ways. If possible, think about these things before you put yourself in the position of "support buddy," starting, then stopping because you feel overwhelmed, though you don't mean it to, may feel like a different kind of betrayal and abandonment. If you decide that there is no way in hell you would ever not help your friend (as I did) make self care (for you and your friend) a priority. You will need trustworthy people who you can turn to. You will likely have to hear the horrific details over and over and just knowing what that person that you care about went through, the actions and emotions, may cause you to experience things that you need to deal with. Just remember, it takes a great deal of strength to ask for help. Again, thank you so much for adding that last part. I hope maybe someone will read my comment and it will be of help in some small way.

Honestly, I've never trusted this family ever since I heard about the whole lollipop incident. And at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if all of these allegations are true. Austin is a real piece of work (i.e. meaning he's a complete piece of trash that needs to be put in his place) and I think Catherine is feigning ignorance because of the money. The nice house, the nice cars, fancy clothes, lack of labor she has to do, and all that money to raise her kids... I'd feel like she's really willing to put up with Austin's BS for all that at this point. This family is real piece of work. Really hoping their kids don't see this and end up like them because this is real ridiculous at this point.
