Excellent tutorial mate! easy to follow and in real time unlike most others. people couldn't believe I did that eye after just 2 days on your beginners course. cheers!!
Niknooo1 its a difficult one really, on white paper or board we have to paint in reverse more or less, this type of fire always works best over black, i do find paper and card a little too absorbent for my liking, but i always believe anything is possible, its just finding the right technique, do you paint on paper/board regular?
Mick Neill, yes I use synthetic yupo type paper and createx paints. I have tried glossy black paper as well, but I just can't get a bright enough colour. I see the candies in you video really add to the 'pop' but I don't think that's going to work on paper. I shall keep trying!, well when I get the enthusiasm I'm back 🙂 Great videos, enjoying them all.
I try to keep the paint as thick as possible without causing flow issues, its normally the solvent that lifts up the camdy and causes bleed, also tack off between candy coats thia will help also
alf mayster why don't you upload your own vid of how to corectly airbrush true fire instead of criticise someone that use his own time to share with us a great talent.
