It angers me when people say that you are 'just a chiropractor'. The power of research at it's finest. You know 100 times more than any doctor I know about nutrition. Please keep up the good fight. Thank you!
Exactly. They assume an MD knows more. False. I Know MDs and they get nearly zero training on health and nutrition. Their training revolves around the pharmaceutical industry primarily.
Most Drs know very little about nutrition. I fired my fat dr that wanted to give me a pill for everything. His explanation for everything was “you’re getting old” I was 40 😐
My wife and I own a small farm and use No-Till, Permaculture and Organic practices. There is a huge difference in taste, appearance and shelf life of our produce when compared to grocery store produce. We focus on soil health as healthy soil produces healthy plants that produces wonderful veggies!
@@garywilkinson4560 Squid eat sardines and they are like octopus which are supposed to be clever. I'm not sure if squid are as smart. I mean why shouldn't they be. They look similar. Maybe they are. Who knows. Someone should do tests. I haven't got time.
No one should be suffering from these deficiencies! We need to hold our food industries and trusted professionals responsible from depleting these very important minerals from human viability.
American food industry is all about business they don’t care about your health. The only solution is to learn make our own food and try to have good relationships with your local farmers so you can get your fresh food from them else well .
Your channel has literally changed my life. I was able to cure several bad health issues by changing diet and tracking my micronutrients. Thank you!!!!
This Doctor needs to be cloned and put into EVERY medical school to re-educate doctors with correct information about HEALTH. He is brilliant, and a gem of a person to anyone with common sense about how to improve their health in a sustained way. I just love learning from his simple to understand videos. I respect this man immensely. 😊😊👍👍
I'm pretty certain they go to school longer than Doctors of medicine & They Focus On Natural Things For Health Instead Of Pharmaceutical's. Which is MY CHOICE!
@@DrbergYou truly are a national Treasure, I point people to your channel all the time.Thank you Dr.Berg you truly are one of the Greats and a true Doctor.
I did a survey of the incidence of dementia in Sweden, by investigating the amount of copper in the soil for the various counties and found that the amount of copper in the soil (moraine) was inversely proportional to the incidence of dementia (NPI points). The occurrence is reduced by 75% if you have approx. 15 mg/Kg of soil compared to areas that have 5 mg/Kg of copper
I moved to a property with a well. I’m feeling much better and I’m off two medications I was on in the city. I wonder if it is partly because of the minerals in the well water.
Thank you Dr Berg for your energy and insight on this most important topic of soil science that directly relates to Human Biology and Nutrition related issues. This is by far one of the best and most important articles to date. It all begins with the soil, water and air!
I have learned more from you than anyone else in the medical community with the science behind the physiology of the Human Body in relatable terms. Awareness, education and enlightenment have all been the key factors in your informative medical education series for public consumption. Absolutely vital for Public health and wellness to flourish. I’m grateful for your contribution to our Society to improve health for all who want to improve their lives. My life is better because of your contributions and I thank you for your philanthropic work. If only there were more people like you in this world. 🌎🙏☀️
I’m checking out this video because Dr. Berg spoke about sea moss. This guy is very smart with nutrition. He helped me back in the day early 2010. I lost most my fat very quick in a few months and I was eating on his liver enhancement plan . And I was over 300 pounds . I got down to 240 in less than two months. He is genuinely a good person and he cares about people.
I am glad that Dr Berg goes to next step and beyond. Sustainable farming, regenerative agriculture, permaculture, food forest are not just concepts. It's a practice day in and day out. It's feeding soil microbiome and growing better soils.
What's your thoughts on iodized salt? I switched to that a while ago to help with my iodine and thyroid. I also make sure I eat sardines weekly, have a good variation of nuts, red meat and I'm going to buy seaweed again. As the one I was buying before was making me sick because it contained harmful oils like soybean oil. I deal with most of those problems from the hair, nails, fatigue and such. Which is also why my gut issues gotten worse. But I've been working on getting myself back to normal.
Dr. Berg, I have watched so many of your videos, but sometimes I feel like I would be doing nothing but taking supplements constantly. What is a day in your life like, start to finish, morning to night? What do you eat and drink and what supplements do you take throughout the day? What does your wife take? How do we fit all of these regimes into our daily life?
I am addicted to your videos doctor, they've always been beneficial to me and my family. You're making it easy for us to access any health topic we want to learn about. I even make sure to watch them before I see tge doctor 😂. BIG THANK YOU DOC.
Thank you dr Berg for your work! for telling people about it! We have a lot of people in Russia whom you help by your mission. Unfortunately, not all of us have the opportunity to seek quality medical care. There are also many doctors with a “formal” approach who prescribe the same thing to everyone according to the standard, without understanding the essence of the disease, its cause. We appreciate and love you very much in Russia!
Very true. I started Pure Encapsulations Minerals 650 w/o iron and copper (supplementing synthetic iron isn't ideal) and my nails which have been breaking constantly are long and strong after 2 months.
I have been loosing a lot of hair for over a year now due to stress, I bought a bottle of your trace minerals have been taking it for about a month and I already see a big difference in my hair it was very sparse and now looks more dense and my gut health have improved greatly, thanks so much.
Thank you Dr. Berg! I also appreciated learning about the soil! I would be interested if you did a channel on growing food with the angle that you did today to include soil, chickens and more.
We got a soft water treatment system & it cuts out most of the minerals so I really need this info. My husband has been light headed recently here in FL while playing golf in the heat so I've been forcing him to drink pink salt but we may need more than this
@@mikelarry2602 Well this might explain why I get some headaches when I wake up lately even though I'm taking 2 large pinches of pink salt first thing in the morning plus some light cooking with it. So should we look for bulk pink salt?
Do you mean non-decorative lava rocks? I use them in my flower containers for drainage. Guy at Lowe's said they also retain moisture. Have just begun growing my own veggies.
@@teri3998 no, it’s a rock dust from stone cutting. If you are in the UK, Elixir Garden Supplies sell it. But your idea may just work too. I’m using something similar trying to grow a caper plant which normally nests in rocky outcrops.
Leaves from trees contain trace minerals from what i`ve learned. (though I did not test them but it makes sense) Tree roots grow underground absorbing nutrients from the soil nourishing the trees and their leaves which then drop in the fall season decompose and replenish the soil. A good reason to compost and mulch with tree leaves when you`re able to!
I think part of the reason why most of us are nutrient deficient these days is due to the water that we drink. Everyone i know drinks purified water. Purified water has no nutrients in it as water of old did.
So many things to say about this video. First of all, Dr Berg, you are a godsend. I have leukemia and you are literally saving my life ❤️🙏 WOW the insight on soil. I knew it was bad, but thank you for the research you do to help us all. (I have made you my primary care doctor and my Kaiser doctor just sits in the chair to help order blood tests that I ask for). Also… I have seen many books on Amazon with outrageous prices (looking at the cancer ones here) and I think this can’t be real. Why TF is this book so expensive??? Thank you for buying it for all of us ❤️
@@careykrause367 Thank you so much! 🙏 At this point its *very* early days. I was diagnosed January 2023. According to my oncologist, I found out (through my own persistence) *years* earlier than most people do. My WBCs are higher than normal, but low for leukemia. And... also according to my oncologist "nothing I do or don't do will affect the progression of the cancer, we just wait and watch." I called BS, and went in aggressively on my immune system. My smudge cells have gone from "moderate" to "few." Thanks to Dr. Berg, and others like him, I will win this battle.💪
A book's price (and value) will depend upon the time and level of unique research that is required to compline the contents and then the expected sales, this is why academic books cost more than the dross for sale at the airport.
I eat mackeral everyday and i take dr bergs trace minerals and wheat grass. I dont do all 3 everday but i make sure im eating mackeral or taking a trace mineral or drinking wheatgrass , dr bergs wheatgrass tastes really good 😊😊😊

When the body is desperate for trace minerals, it is often experiencing a deficiency in these essential micronutrients that are required in small quantities but play a crucial role in various physiological processes. Trace minerals include zinc, iron, copper, selenium, iodine, manganese, and others, each with its unique functions within the body. One of the most common signs of a trace mineral deficiency is persistent fatigue and weakness. These minerals are involved in energy production and utilization, so a shortage can lead to decreased energy levels, making everyday tasks feel more challenging than usual. Muscle cramps and spasms can also indicate a lack of trace minerals. Minerals like magnesium and potassium are vital for muscle function and nerve transmission. Inadequate levels of these minerals can lead to muscle contractions and discomfort. Another potential symptom is an irregular heartbeat or palpitations. Trace minerals like potassium, magnesium, and calcium play critical roles in maintaining the electrical activity of the heart. Insufficient levels of these minerals can lead to heart rhythm disturbances. Hair loss and brittle nails are often linked to trace mineral deficiencies, particularly zinc and biotin. These minerals are essential for healthy hair growth and nail strength. When they are lacking, hair may become thin and prone to breakage, and nails may become weak and brittle. A weakened immune system is also a possible sign of trace mineral deficiency. Minerals like zinc and selenium are known for their immune-boosting properties. Without sufficient levels of these minerals, the body's ability to fight off infections and illnesses may be compromised. In some cases, individuals may experience changes in their sense of taste or smell. Zinc, in particular, is crucial for maintaining a healthy sense of taste and smell. A deficiency can lead to reduced sensitivity in these senses. Other symptoms of trace mineral deficiency can include skin issues, like dryness and rashes, as well as impaired wound healing and poor cognitive function. It's important to note that these symptoms can be caused by various factors, and a deficiency in trace minerals is just one possibility. If you suspect that you may be deficient in trace minerals, it is essential to seek advice from a healthcare professional. They can conduct tests to determine your mineral levels and provide appropriate guidance on dietary changes or supplements if necessary. To prevent trace mineral deficiencies, it's essential to maintain a balanced diet that includes a variety of nutrient-rich foods. Foods like nuts, seeds, whole grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables are excellent sources of trace minerals and should be incorporated into your diet regularly. Remember, proper nutrition is key to overall health and well-being.

After watching many of your videos I am getting a better understanding of my health. Correct information is a blessing in this fake time... Thanks a lot.
Need of trace minerals should be made from different foods. Celtic Salt is not a good choice over consumption of which may cause more harm than good . For example,it is high in potassium content excess use of which may lead to heart problems as safety margin of potassium is very narrow I.e. 3.5 -5.2 mEq/L.
@@mithidas4295there’s no way to have excess of potassium from taking any salt. Some of Dr Berg’s videos /articles on one’s needs for potassium or on potassium functions may be of interest.
I think Iron deficiency will always show clear during the monthly cycle, with the symptoms that Dr Berg has already mentioned, also, in addition to meats, fresh ginger has some iron in it, and I feel energized when I have it with my tea. Thanks Dr Berg 🌸
Spirulina capsules or powder add to smoothie or water thank me later whole family will be doing amazing moringa powder also amla powder tumeric ginger all natural all have amazing benefits
All complaining about the food manufacturers you can vote with your dollars. Don’t buy over processed foods. Read labels. Educate your family and friends.
Thankyou for sharing an important topic. I think we are still lucky because we depend on nature for our veggies and and locally grown fruits. Also available of fresh seafish and organic chicken.
I totally agree with the end. It's nuts the state of our soils and how that is directly tied into the food we eat and our overall health. Id love to see something on how to bring those trace minerals back in small kitchen gardens.
Start by making good compost with multiple bins so you have a system of rotation. Look at things like potash, small amounts of road salt and weathering of rust etc.
That's probably why the Indians. And yes I'm going to say Indians instead of American natives, Would bury fish when planting their crops... To give their soil the iodine it needed 🤔.

Bull's eye! The next step is the impact of EMR on mineral reactions in our microbiome, plants, animals, and ourselves. At least 900 diseases are the result of mineral, vitamin, amino acid, or fatty acid deficiencies. I'm still looking for a study on asprin and Ibuprofen deficiency. 😁
More than 40 years ago, this level of testing was common for animal nutrition. When you can test at this enzyme level, and have nutrition to match, I think most health problems will vanish.
This is such important information. I learned about the importance of trace minerals from my naturopath. My family and I use Redmond Real Salt in all our cooking. And I take a concentrated trace mineral supplement daily, on top of a quality multivitamin and capsules of grass fed beef liver. I focused on all of these things heavily whilst pregnant but still do so now, since I learned so much about their importance. Thank you for your continued educational videos, Dr. Berg!
Thanks you so much. ❤ can you give me some information on how I can repair my circulation after my first leg vein treatment ( EVLT) Endovenous Laser Therapy. . Waiting on your response if you can help. Thanks Doc. ❤❤❤❤❤
Yes....trace minerals are critically important. However.... The notion that Phytic Acid, from seeds, legumes, grains, nuts, etc. Prevents our ability to absorb trace minerals, is well studied. And its just not true!! Jeffery....⚘️
I certainly would not mind dr berg starting to give us more in-depth informations on how to grow the most nutrient dense foods by enriching the soil in our own gardens. Fully contemplating getting a sheep for milk now 😂
1. Even the produce from farmers market are commercially grown and traded. 2. By looking at hair and skin you could estimate a person's overall health, shape and figure too.
