So, having Trench survive a ship explosion in space is one thing, but then you kill him off by stabbing him with a lightsaber? Something that is not only far less dangerous than the former, but also shown numberour times to be easily survivable in Disney canon?

Yup, it's wild. Meanwhile, Disney is lying through its teeth claiming that "We'Re NoT rEtCoNniNg AnYtHiNg, GuYs, ThiS iS aLL iN-KeEpiNg WiTh VeNtReSs' StOrY" Fr, it's just rubbing salt in the wound regarding how Legends was canned. I will take the old EU *any* day over the absolute clownery going on with Star Wars nowadays.

I have a feeling that you will disagree with me on this, but I think the Bad Batch should have had armors in different colours. The red and black looks a bit too serious and edgy for this goof troop and the helmet designs are so forgettable that it's hard to tell who's who when they are wearing their helmets. Plus, the Delta Squad, who they were, ahem, "inspired by", wore different colours.

Finally, I just pray that the arc with these clones ends. Who the fuck even decided that someone would be interested in watching episodes or even a whole series about these dull fuckers. Ah**ka is at least fun to hate and vilify. But BB is just wasting time. Literally, it would be better if, instead of wasting animation on this arc, they would just put on a black screen for 4 episodes in a row, and then it would be more epic and interesting.

Honestly, I like Windu's scene - it was a little pointless, but it does show how compassionate Mace Windu is (also, some droids *are* shown to be capable of making their own decisions).

@@jeremyallen5974 I agree with @ECSOrder66, but if you want an example from the newer canon that explicitly shows Mace Windu's compassion, the comic Age of Republic: Mace Windu shows him rescue a bunch of child soldiers from their evil master, and he is shown to be very compassionate to them and takes personal offence to the abuse they have suffered.

Yeah, the biggest problem with the bad batch-show … way not enough character development mith the main characters. (Crosshair has some legit good episodes.)

George Lucas was right. If you can't write, then you can't direct. Filoni just can't be creative in his writing, not to mention logical. His directing skills ain't too good either. The man needs help.

Well, he's not going to get any real help from anyone under Disney. Rian Johnson's attempts to "help" him clearly left Filoni with the wrong lessons. And now that he's chief creative officer, he'll probably sink a decent amount of time into ruining the work of Tony Gilroy, the only true talent in current Lucasfilm, instead of trying to learn from him. Filoni is far too arrogant to be open to learning anyway.

As someone who does both writing and directing as a hobby, I'm not sure I agree with this, as going by my personal experiences. As a director, I have to be extremely precise about what I want the voice actors to do, and I feel that may have had a side effect on my writing, where now I tend to go too much into detail and not leave enough up to the imagination.

Will you analyze Tartakovsky's Clone Wars? It has too much action for my taste, and little to no dialogue, but whenever there is dialogue it's miles better than what is written in Filoni's The Clone Wars, I mean, just take the Jedi Council discussion scene, we see almost every Jedi Master participating in a dialogue.

Unfortunately, using clips from Tartakovsky's Clone Wars results in the video being automatically blocked by RU-vid. Disney is apparently hellbent on keeping people from talking about the series. It's unbelievable 😤
