"Summer talk" was for some reason absolutely hilarious. I can't quite figure out if it's because I know what he's talking about because it's relatable, or if it's just something that happens in movies.
homestar is full of that. little things about growing up that you have literally never thought about twice, and can't really pin down, and may have never actually hadplened to you, but which resonate tremendously. Wet Knee Gumption Club did it REALLY hard. I got all these memories of definitely doing exactly that as a kid.
Pyagrl*16 "You have an excellent username!" Why thank you senator! Yeah, I was just thinking that this probably isn't the creepiest thing Coach has said. I've heard him say all kinds of jibblies-inducing stuff :P
Thomas Daunt Oh, that was a good one. It really raises a lot of questions. Like, does Coach Z even know how reproduction works? But I think by far the creepiest thing he's ever said was his little monologue in 'Strongbadia the Free' from SBCG4AP: *Strong Bad*: The war's over, Coach Z. You can go home. *Coach Z*: Sure, I should go back to that musty old gym. Or I could stay here in this nice garden... behind Marzipan's house... where I can watch her... always...
This and Donut unto others is what comes to mind when I think of ye good ol' times of Homestar Runner... Both of which prominently feature Bubs. Man, I love Bubs.
For me the Good Ol Times of Homestar Runner are things like The Yellow Dellow, A Jorb Well Done, The Reddest Radish, The Jumping Jack Contest, and The Luau.
I really hate that every time I watch this, it sincerely makes me want to have a baloney sandwich with mustard on wonderbread like a kid. Also, Homestar sounds so cute when he's doing his summertalk!! I love when he does a voice like that!
"what, you didnt hear man? maaan man... this kid... doin' a flip on his one-eighty... busted his head man. busted his head...' aahhh, summer talk is awesome!
HR: "shaped like there's a bite taken out of it" :) Bubs: "YEAH. Shaped like there's a bite taken out of it!" HR: "yeah... shaped like there's a bite taken out of it..." :| Bubs: "YEAH!!!!.... SHAPE-D like there's a bite taken out of it!" HR:"YEAH! Shaped like there's a bite taken out of it!" ):( Bubs: "YEAH!!!!!-" My favorite part cuz it obviously says "taste tested" !!! XD
The King of Town must be super rich to be able to afford a one of everything, a two of everything, a three of everything, and a five of everything. Fortunately, Bubs had six of those.
jcbookman Yes, but there are six sammiches on the side of the truck, and 36 x 6 equals 216. Or, if you want to include the "Sequel" sammich, that's an extra seventh, making 252. Thus, 36 of everything equals 252 sammiches total.
@@FireLordJohn3191 I'm not sure why you say one step left. After KoT bought 6 of everything, Bubs says that he is all out of everything except the $32 napkin. There's no one last step.
That heat wave must be scrambling up everyone pretty bad. Also nice to see more development between Coach Z and Bubs. You think they’d be two sides of the same coin but really Bubs holds the same contempt towards Coach Z as everyone else.
