That tool rounded, my shocks don't leak but if they ever do I know what to do cheers dude. If you could add the size of the o-rings needed that would help for the future.

Yeah the shocks weren't leaking probably because they weren't even full 🤣. I hate that stupid design to undo the shock cap, I was looking at the same shocks no doubt and your right on needing to justify the cost.

Well to take it apart you start with the red cap lol. I only done it because the typhons was in bits anyway still it might help someone.

Most peoole try out ZD racing shocks but you don't get the ballstud with some of them. Other than that it's down to you really dude, got money to burn go proline.

The tool is unless cheap plastic works once or twice. Metal one maybe but they done give them out for fun.

I put 800cst in mine front and rear for bashing. 1000cst might be better

If you watched the video the shocks were already damaged… the included tools wouldn’t work… they were damaged because of the goofy design flaw that isn’t needed, which he called disgusting

The tool was the cause of the damage as it slips out of place due to it being plastic. It's a goofy design for sure

It was absolutely shocking mate, I need to get some new shocks I can see these going wrong soon enough.

They're ok shocks just can't get my head around the locking system and how it needs wrenched on to get the shock eyes inline and the shock fully compresses.. are the Keaton shocks a direct fit of need adapting.

@@mehimrc1314 Yeh I know what ye mean. I've only had mine apart once when I first got the car to change the oil so it all worked fine. I guess after a few disassembles you'll get that problem you had. And the kraton shocks were easy mate. I bought 2 sets of fronts coz they're the exact same size as the stock rears then for the front you have to shorten them 10mm that's all. Bit of rubber hose inside. Makes it look so much more quality and feels mint! I need to do a vid on it really coz it's had a lot of upgrades now 🤘🏻

Plus they weren't even half full so I've been landing on springs alone. Do your video asap hardcore reckons these 3s cars are going bye bye. @@mehimrc1314 I'm pretty sure he's wrong mate. He thinks there's asbestos in the diff gaskets??? Very unlikely. If he is right I'm not sending mine back with all the upgrades on it fuck that! Probably won't see again for weeks or even months!

If he's right I'm putting in a claim, if he's wrong I hope arrma don't catch wind of the shit he's been saying and go after him. You'd have to be mental to send it back all upgrade, I'd send back the diffs and get the car valeting haha.

My video outdated? Depending on how you want your shock set up, you can have no rebound or rebound No "should have" its optional by the user. The tool provided is just that a propa tool that flexes and bends after one use. Thanks for commenting hope you found it interesting.

Both of you are right, normal shocks have a rebound but surprisingly these don’t have a rebound, maybe thicker oil will give the rebound.

If the height and travel is the same then it's entirely up to you what you use. They might bend easier if you bash, but that's the risk we take 😜

I’m just wanting my truck to roll less… also the front seems veryyyy soft and the underside of truck scrapes everything on even small bumps …. Do people put the Mojave 6s springs on the Mojave 4s to fix this??

@thepatternforms859 you pull the spring down and add the clips at the top in between the spring and the shock top. Basically change your shock oil to slightly thicker and add the preload clips. People do add 6s shocks to these cars but I think you need to space them out a little.
