Arnold is *the* man. No one has looked better or as good since, or before. Steroids (which were perfectly legal at the time he took them) have relatively little to do, overall, with his physique. They provide an edge but don't give you the bulk of your muscle mass. He got that body though good genes and incredibly hard work. He's a true modern hero and role model who's conquered every task he's put his mind to.
Arnold is the king of bodybuilders. He had symmetry, proportion and massiveness. Today bodybuilders don't have the symmetry and proportion and instead they try to become so massive that they look like bloated mutants. I wonder what bodybuilders will look like about 100 years from now?
Crave88evarC believe it or not, he lost his first competition because his calves were too small, he trained calves 6 days a week and came back the next year stronger than ever. I don't know how anyone can hate Arnold..
To be honest i never admired his work, but i have to say that i found some pictures here rather amazing..Was like watching some Ancient god statues and his figure was so natural....Well done for this video really...
Yep, it's sad how he had to give up heavy lifting due to his heart surgery. He's not what he used to be. But that won't stop me from being inspired by him :)
He was the greatest body builder in history....then he became one of the biggest box office draws in history...and now, the Governor of California. Impossible not to be impressed by this man. Just impossible.
Yes, he had the best legs of any of his contemporaries. 1973/74 he was unbelievable. People who say that he didn't have legs were looking at his early years or the disgrace that was the 1980 Mr. Olympia.

@valgez From what you said it seems like whoever takes steroids is a winner. But reality proves that it's not that. You could take steroids but work out half ass at the gym and you won't get the results Arnold did. PLus genetics of course. Arnold had an amazing body because he trained extra hard. Harder than most people do at the gym these days. Steroids helped, but from what you are saying that's not the only reason he got where he did.
