Often, in applications like yours, you see the winch mounted on the front of the bed .....

I imagine it was meant to be attached to the tilt deck. but looks good where you mounted it. I hope you post some new stuff

Weld a D-ring beside the roller you made to connect the hook when wanting to use snatch block.

the wheeled thing is called a fairlead

4:25 The fairlead ("roller thingy") is supposed to mount where that hole/slot is, down in front of where the winch is now. You covered it up whit that diamond plate. That mounting plate is SUPPOSED to go on the front end of the tilt deck. You have it upside down. That lip on the plate, behind the winch, goes over the front end of the tilt bed, and that is what gets welded. The big lip in front of the plate is kinda used as wheel stops.
