The Brigadier Remembers 

The Brigadier is an old man don't forget. As he ages in age and the older he gets he begins to have Alziemer's or dementia which only occurs in elderly people. The Brigadier has had more years of traveling in the Tardis with the Doctor than Captain Jack or Rose or Clara or Sarah-Jane or any companions that traveled with the Doctor in the Tardis. The Brigadier's friendship with the Doctor started the day they first met. And from that day and time onwards the Brigadier always knew when the Doctor needed him he's always there it's like the Brigadier can't let the Doctor out of his sight for long periods of time until the Brigadier is right there getting the Doctor out of trouble. Their friendship is legendary and it's forever with every Doctor Who incarnation and regeneration. The 15th Doctor I don't like him very much. Because he's got a African ring to the Doctor which is why I decided to stop watching after David Tennant's 14th Doctor regeneration into Ncuti Gatwa which again an African name. The Doctor shouldn't have a dark black coloured face and body it's not right and it doesn't fit in everything that the Doctor is.

@@Goldenwhitewings not continouisly. Tom Baker served 7 years on screen, (74-81) and from 2010 til present on big finish. But the brig served through the 60's 70;s 80;s 90;s AND 2000's. the longest serving DOCTOR is actually 7th who was on screen from 87-89, in the dr who movie in 96 and was in the very first big finish story in 99 and is still going

When you say "it's been reported", do you mean when RTD said they wanted the Brigadier in Who, but scheduling conflicts made it not possible so they used the character in SJA?

@@kennethraymondmoore Yes -interview in DWM or a DVD extra. Having the 11th call the hospital, and find the Brig' was dead, was acknowledgement. Yet, while Nic C' was older and then ill, Modern Who had not included him, and production and actors expressed regret in written or video interview.

Big finish I believe, hence why we saw 6, 8, 9, 10 and the Curator despite them never having met onscreen

I agree. The Brigadier was a much loved character. He and the fans deserved better. But Moffatt made a lot of dodgy decisions and went along with the dodgy decisions of others when he was showrunner.

Totally agree 100 percent with the dr by his side.

I think it's supposed to represent one of the Big Finish stories "The Spectre of Lanyon Moor" that has the Sixth Doctor and The Brigadier in Cornwall fighting off something that looked like a goblin.
