The Communion Bread - Feb 18 24 

At the last Passover meal Jesus would celebrate with His disciples, He instituted the Communion meal in its place, using wine to represent His shed blood, and bread to remember His broken body. But why not continue using lamb to represent His body, since Scripture refers to Jesus as God's sacrificial lamb, and the Passover meal already used lamb? But instead, Jesus chose to use bread to represent His body. Here, we seek to answer that question by exploring God's other uses of bread in Scripture, in the OT and in the NT.
