I've been watching Last Week since a month or two after you started, and it was so reaffirming to find such an honest representation of what it's like to live with depression, how one day, sometimes out of no where, you won't be able to do what you normally can, and again, I saw a lot of my brother in you. I suggested your videos to him, and linked him to Last Week and I think he really appreciates them. He's a lot more open about his depression now, and he's more talkative - and at 25, he's got his first job,and the new routine is a lot but I think it might be his dream job - and I think your videos and your honesty helped him with that, so thank you for making videos like these, and last week, that openly depict who you are - a funny, caring, creative person - and how you live with depression and anger

I can definitely relate to Tom when it comes to the teacher bullying him. I had a teacher who was downright awful to me. I wasn't even a bad student, my worst crime was sometimes I couldn't pay attention properly because I'm somewhere on the spectrum. What made it worse was that she acted overly nice and praised me relentlessly whenever we were around my mum or other teachers. Thankfully, years later, my mum said she saw through the act and felt like something was off about my teacher. I was terrified to go to school because of her.

I hate it when teachers bully kids because they get away with it! Even if you're right and you go tell another teacher, the other teacher is just all "Uduuur that's not true, y wud a techer bully kids? ppsssshhhh" Aye, cheers for fucking listening -__-

This was an awesome video, even though some of the things in it were shitty things, learning how you became you is great. Sometimes therapists desperate to diagnose you can be a bad thing but sometimes therapists desperate NOT to diagnose you can hurt as well, like me only finding out after years of unexplained depression and anxiety that I'm actually autistic, which explained and helped a lot.

I got humiliated in school alot too. Not by a teacher, but by all of my classmates. I tried telling the teachers about it a multiple times but they didnt care. After about 4 years of being bullied and humiliated of everything I snapped. I was always spending time alone, as I had only few friends. But then I completely shut myself out of society. I stopped talking to people, I would spend all my free time (even breaks in school, which are a thing in Finland) and even skip school lunch to avoid people and just play games. I got a tablet for christmas when I was in 7th grade, and I started playing with it in school. Soon I got the nickname "Tablet boy", which didnt really engourage me to talk to people. I was completely antisocial in real life, but at the same time I developed great skill in gaming, making me one of the best players in our school. However, not many people knew about it because I never talked to anybody. I also liked eating food, not just to make me happy, but simply because it tasted good. I developed a little bit of craziness, and I had a high IQ even back then, so it combined with my craziness led to a pretty weird combination. I would be changing my feelings for things real fast (for example, I liked something, but the next hour, throw it away, then get it back soon after), I made some crazy ideas, and was kinda feared in school by some people. I was kinda huge back then, weighing 84 kilos and being 185cm tall in 8th grade, the weaklings and the 7th graders were kinda afraid of me, so they stayed away and didnt want to talk to me. I was kinda violent then since I wasnt completely sane, so I usually punched one of my only friends when I greeted him. He was a weakling, but he knew that I wasnt a threat since I didnt hit too hard. However, if some of the 7th graders came talking shit to me, I could easily scare them of by pretending to punch them. Soon I regained some of my friends and started recovering from insanity, but I still havent completely recovered from my mental wounds. I still like to punch my friend, eat good food, play video games and make crazy ideas, but I am not so antisocial anymore. So to anybody whos being bullied in school, gather friends who are like you, and be with them. Usually bullies are pussies and will not bully you if you have a group of people around you. Also, try getting friends through the internet. From gaming for example.

You have been through some stuff and I think you have gone out of it a pretty decent person. I love the self deprecating humor, I just hope you go a bit easy on yourself when you're not in front of that camera. A lot of people like and support you and there's a good reason for that.

This video made me realize more about myself. Just about all my days of elementary and middle school were spent being picked on and now I find myself angry at little things, I'm not excited for anything anymore, my memory is just fucking horrible and I'm one of the smartest kids in my school. Probably doesn't help that my parents were drug addicts. I'm sure that I'm not broken the same way you are, but I do believe that this video has helped me figure myself out.

That's awful that that teacher decided humiliation was definitely a great choice to keep kids in line instead of literally keeping them in line by doing her job the right way. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

You were lucky your old therapists tried to get you an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis before the age of 9. It took everyone 14 years for me, which was really bad as I didn't know how to talk to people, causing me to get real depressed, which lead to me doing BAD things to myself, which led to me seeing a Psychotherapist, counsellor and therapist. At the moment, I'm happy that happened, because I'm feeling so much happier, am on medication that is actually WORKING, unlike the first two prescriptions I was on. Rant over, really enjoyed, looking forward to part two

My faith in humanity just died a little bit after watching that. As a future teacher myself I am actually disgusted by that woman's teaching methods. I cant believe how cruel humans can be. How could you treat such a cute little boy with such malice. Also the therapists trying to put him on the autism spectrum is obviously not going to work through the issues he had. I would say he was suffering from PTSD at that point, so it was irrelevant diagnosing him with autism. Even if he did have autism its not going to be the reason for a child depressed. I can't believe how shit some people are at their jobs. Teachers and therapists have extremely important roles, like how do you even fuck it up that bad. You had ONE job guys, look at the damage it has caused in this, now, adults life. That has literally made me so angry.

I would probably just smash up something if my teacher treated me like that... I was a bad kid :l
