I'm surprised you didn't mention that he wanted to come back to the NHL in 2016 cause he got married and had a kid since the last time he was there, and thus wanted to redeem himself and make his kid proud.
You also omitted Habs GM Marc Bergevin publicly commenting on Radulov signing in Dallas (for the same amount Habs were offering him) by saying: "If you want loyalty, buy yourself a dog" hahahah
I'm a Remparts fans since the season 2005-2006 and yes, it's Marc-Édouard Vlasic. It's was a dream roster. First line : Radulov, Aubin and Melanson. First pair of defencemen : Vlasic and Sersen. First goalie : Cédrick Desjardins.
Radulov was sweet talked by the KHL upstarts... He was young, home sick, and he probably had a HUGE cash signing bonus to help bolster the league. I loved him as a player with the Canadiens... I was sad to see him leave.
Russians should be exempt from curfews at bars. I pitched with a Russian guy at the High Desert Mavericks he would drink all night and pitched great the next day.
As preds a fans, I feel the dumbest thing David Poile ever did was bench Radulov and Kostitsyn in that series, as I'm sure we would of come out on top of that series had our two most dangerous offensive players not been benched, and we potentially could have gone on to win the cup. Poile later said he had no choice but to bench them, but that is total B.S because he could of played them and even being hung over they still would of lit it up! Look at all the stories of Micheal Jordan and Dennis Rodman partying during NBA finals and still winning championships. You don't bench an elite athlete just because they did not go to bed on time!
@@Straight_dipping_ from what I recall goaltender interference is illegal you guys couldn't even beat Nashville in the Winter Classic without referee help or Vegas in game 5 and guess what karma but you in the ass Dallas doesn't deserve a damn thing until they actually play a game without relying on referee help there not going to win they never should have been in the playoffs to begin with
do you live under a rock? the guy was never signing with Montreal. we would have had to offer him 9 mil for him to sign with us. we offered him 5.8 mil just like dallas. he's not worth 5.8 for 7 years. we're better off without his ego and that contract. man, im so tired of uneducated people saying "we didnt sign radu" HE DIDNT SIGN WITH US.
He moved for the first time in Russia after the WHC which was held in Quebec City and Halifax in 2008. He probably had a conversation there with fellow russian player to play in the Khl.
As a preds fan, you don’t know the whole story. During the Arizona series he and another Russian went out drinking the night before the elimination game and he got benched. We lost that game. He went to the KHL.
Hey man your videos are awesome now! it has been quite some time since i've watched your videos, and I must say they have become exponentially better. I found your video biographies in the past, the "Whatever happened to?" videos for example , were somewhat plain. You would recite the particular players team and stats from each season, maybe an injury, and that would basically be it. Those were things one could surmise by going to that players hockey database page. Your videos now go more deeply into a players acheivements in each season, other players involved in their trades and other developments. As i said, your productions are 1st-rate ! May i suggest that you could possibly mention a players linemates as well? Thats the kind of thing that may have weighed heavily on determining someones success. Cheers~!
This bit is kind of hearsay, so take it as you will, but after his deal with the Habs was up, Radulov wanted to stay with the team. However, Bergevin lowballed him during contract negotiations, and by the time the Habs agreed to his terms, it was too late. Apparently, it was the length of the contract, not the financial terms, that was the source of conflict, and the difference being 1 year (Radulov wanted 5, Bergevin wanted 4). Again, this is from hearsay, so the source may not be reliable.
I would have recommended also covering his aggressiveness and penalties and how you take the bad with the good. Rads is who he is and it’s awesome and frustrating and glorious and fantastic all at the same time.
Also if you ever find yourself in boston I got a clean space you'd be welcome to stay at for free and were a bike ride from TD garden or an hour walk. Thank you for the content boss. Love to see the passion for my favorite sport.
Does he get to the hall when it’s all said and done. I thing he does between his nhl numbers and his Khl numbers and hardware i thing he has a solid shot to make it
@Mike Keller yeah I would have I wouldn't send them flying like a Smash Brothers character but I'd knock him on his ass to learn not the freaking cheat like a dirty bastard
