The Darkness was recently our guests on 'Records In My Life'. They spoke with us about some of their favourite albums by Queen, Marvin Gaye, Europe, Led Zeppelin, and Steven Tyler's pants.
The Darkness on 'Records In My Life' was filmed at The Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, B.C. April 4th 2018.

Justin's always funny, but particularly here, for some reason. What a cutie...🥰 Such wide age difference in this band. When Justin was 14 and listening to Aerosmith's Pump, Frankie was 22 and Rufus wasn't born yet. And yet it's perfect. Old souls, doesn't matter.

I'm so very glad they got back together after that long and tragic break. I remember checking on them every now and then back in the day, really hoping they would.

I missed them when they toured Permission to Land so this was a real treat to meet them now with almost the full original lineup. Rufus may well be the better drummer too.

He knows his own band is heavily influenced by his dad's band. They mention Queen all the time, really, even now. I think he seems to accept it very casually.

It helps that Michael has been in the top 3 most common names longer than any other name. There are too many Michaels out there. I dunno about Colin. Such an English name.
