Just loving your memories . We moved down from Brooklyn,New York on the July 4th weekend in 1972 to Fort Lauderdale, Florida with our four children. Of course, we are still enjoying the Florida sunshine especially since Mommy didn’t like the cold weather.Disney World was fairly new in 1972 and was one of our greatest enjoyments. Can’t wait to see the rest of the video. It wouldn’t be too long for me. Really enjoy you both and your beautiful family. I can relate for sure. 💕

Nanny and Moose, what a wonderful chapter in the saga of Nanny and Moose and family! You both painted a picture that I could visualize. Bless Blondie’s heart for bringing you to my back yard. I know that you and your family must have loved the weather. No more frozen car locks. We can snow ski in the morning and water ski in the afternoon. I giggled when I saw you Nanny, with pig tails in 1971. I thought of you that way last summer. All of your adventures would make a wonderful book. I am writing my life story for my grandchildren. I want them to know everything in my own words so that events are not distorted. Your family has all of these wonderful videos to look back on. Was Moose still with the Singer company when you moved here? We may have crossed paths more than once. I know that I shopped your store. The photos are so sweet. They remind me of that time when we were raising our own children. Isn’t it special to reminisce about our youth. We were incredibly busy with family and life and had no idea what the future held. But now we can reflect on the highs and lows and realize that the life lessons, the experiences and just living life has brought us wisdom. Of course the young people are not always open to our sharing that wisdom, but we know! I am anxiously awaiting the next chapter in your saga. How is Shasta? Please take care of each other. Loved your stories. In 1972 I went from s.calif born and raised to Oregon. 5 acres. We built our house and lived for 9 years. Life problems sent us back to calif, but I miss it. My one daughter moved back to Oregon and I was there Christmas. You had quite an adventure. What an interesting life. Then as life is and such a small world , you had a shop in the same town I lived in most of my childhood and adult life when I moved back to Calif. I visited your shop several times. I'm sure I met you. Small world as I have said. I wish I had gotten to know you. Now on utube I do. 😊

Sharing your precious memories triggered some of my own similar memories - 4kids with chicken pox at the same time - 16 hr, trips in a ststion wagon to go on vacations - adventures with black labs - the long distant memory of bikinis. I loved your Camen Kia- it was a beauty. A few of our friends had them. My husband s baby was a Datsun 240Z It s fun to take a stroll down memory lane!

What fun! Neither me or my hubby moved around around. He grew up in Amherst, Mass. I grew up in cotton country in Arkansas on the banks of the Mississippi River. When he went into the Air Force, we met when he was stationed in Arkansas. I didn't want to be a Yankee and he didn't want to pick cotton so we hopped into our 1965 GTO and toured the East Coast looking for a place to live. We settled in Richmond, Va and began our family. We are still in our starter house which fits us perfectly today. You two have had a golden life with a lot of excitement. Let's face it there was little to get excited about in Northeast Arkansas. 56 years together, and it was a great to be a young family.

I really do love your stories of your different moves .You did so well to remember them all.Not sure if I could remember things as well.I came over from Germany walking with my mother and baby brother in a pram ,out of Berlin .and have bought a recorder to record what I remember ,so that my children and nephew and nieces know some of their background ,as their father has now died ,but he always said he had no memory .So that’s why I find your story so interesting .xx

I had a black retriever who used to eat my high heel shoes and my books. It wasn't for me. 💔 Not all dogs behave that way. My now hubby had a Chow Chow named Kuba while we were dating in 2003-2007. He used to dig a hole in the garden near me when I worked outside -- and guard me/keep me safe from all harm.💗 I loved him. What a sweet disposition he had. Kuba died at age 13.💔🐕‍🦺
