I love Corzette’s story; she’s is so right about the elders belittled the sisters during the judicial committee; same thing happened to me. I’m so happy that she got out; at the end of the day, the organization is all about control. It doesn’t prepare you for whatever life happens such as unplanned pregnancy, dating or marriage.

Tell me about it I got called into the backroom and grilled and judged by the elders with their condescending and intrusive questions. 🙄🙄. Looking back on it now I can’t believe how stupid I was for putting up with their crap over something that really was none of their business.

Wow, Cozette, my best friend growing up, was named Cozette. I never knew anyone else with that name. We grew up at 123rd and Emerald. I am very familiar with Harvey/Marham area. Used to skate there. Now, I am going to go back to watching the video.

Thank you Cozette, Actually at a circuit convention I remember a talk given by two Brother's on how one was beating his wife, he was studying with this other brother. The brother said "I used to be the same with my wife until I became a babtized JW and learnt through the bible there is no need to be this way, the bible showed the way, wordly man became jw and magically stopped beating his wife too".... something like that, this talk though I knew to be wrong because I knew of a sister being abused. I'm unsure whether this was my first hypocritical information seen but I want to thank you for sharing your story of domestic abuse within the organization made to blame the sisters for not being "submissive enough", whatever you did wrong go home and say sorry for being beat up and make sure that you are also satisifying your husband more!!!!!! (apologies for spelling mistakes).

Can you honestly say the elders were wrong? 👴🏻 in New York tell you what you can and cannot do in bed, that Jesus and God is 👴🏻, order you on how to conduct yourself in life, order you to devote your life to enriching their business to your financial detriment, not to listen to anyone attacking them and more. 🤔. That is a cross between a child and a slave; and all done without child support or a gun and fence to physically keep you on a plantation. It is remarkable how well their hustle works.

Ahh it seem they treated her as older black woman had no value. I wonder what state in US she was in when a JW. Good she got free and use her own brain to think go to college or learn a profession. She does have attractive features and hope her life can get better. They treated me like crap married to a JW (told my hubby I need to quit work & stop wearing makeup I should be preaching all time).I then faded for over 15 years and tried to come back....I was ignored too as single black woman with not allowed to comment. I had asked for help in pray by elders but ignored me too. I left again after trying 2 years to get into JW but will NEVER return! Thank you for sharing and welcome to freedom.

It never occurred to me that God would give instructions to his representatives that meant they were to act in ways that were not in harmony with his ways.. Unscramble rev 16:13&14 l now see how it all makes sense

Many young sisters going through the judicial process for immorality have expressed how invasive and inappropriate the probing questions were.. This reminds me of Ezekiels temple vision ..which showed something disgusting.. as we would say dirty old men were masturbating .. Is this the fulfillment of that prophecy? Leaving opposers with the idea that moves them to united oppose worshippers of the true God ?! What we need to remember is that Gods people must provoke the nations into opposition as rev 16:13&14 reveals. Armageddon is GODS will.

How to get publicity on the bigger world stage ..doing that which upset the sensitivity ( it worked with Pharoah of Egypt as Moses wanted to sacrifice that which the Egyptians valued )
