The Fall Guy - Behind the Scenes 

I too loved it - I reckon it lives up to the hype. I also saw it in Sydney, on opening day (Wednesday). With the charismatic duo of Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt as the main drawcards, this is the first film I've bothered to physically see at the theatre in about a decade. It was worth watching on the big screen with surround sound. It seems to be getting bums on seats at both of my local cinemas (out of interest, I checked Sat/Sun bookings online). Keen for this to do well enough for a franchise - preferably also filmed here downunder.

FANTASTIC Movie! Have now seen it twice and loved it even MORE the 2nd time, if possible?!! This Movie has EVERYTHING! A MUST see! In my opinion Ryan Gosling has never LOOKED better, or BEEN better!!

Great story! I only saw him on Barbie with my granddaughters. Then suddenly he's everywhere. He's no Sting (I have everything Sting) but darn!

Probably because the movie is only very loosely related to the original TV series.

I dont know why they didnt mention it in the featurette, but there are definitely references in the film and "Based on the series..." is prominent in the opening credits.

There was plenty of involvement from the actual stunt guys in the press junket for this film.

Interesting, I can relate. Although I saw RG in The Notebook and Drive (both great films but for different reasons) many years ago, I only recently rediscovered him earlier this year. Ironically, not in Barbie but in Drive again, while on a binge of Carey Mulligan movies. I've since watched his entire filmography of 27 movies, and enjoyed most of them enough to re-watch at least once.

P.S. If you decide to go on your own Gosling binge, you will probably find that his early roles really highlighted his acting chops, with as many charming and quirky characters as intense, violent and evil ones. Since you seem to like his humourous work, I would suggest tracking down Crazy Stupid Love and Nice Guys next. Enjoy!

They're Red Wings. I also own a pair. A bit expensive, but if you take care of them they'll last a long time
