As I’m figuring out, The Zenith weapons is SOOO good against medium sized machines if you use it right (Which is using it with smoke bombs and the rail gun ). You should try it out!

Nice idk why I haven’t used the critical shot Valor with it I will now, I’ve been using the ole reliable freezing Machines and watching their health bar get ate up by the zenith weapon. Getting them brittle and then popping that Valor surge might just be even more fun

@@SirFoxbutt yeah the railgun ammo type does the impact damage, which makes it worth getting the enemy brittle for that extra damage

I really hope in the third game they give use the zenith tech and let us crafte some crazy weapons! Think about the machine overrides except with zenith tech!!! Please Guerrila!!!

Personally I use the weapon to spam medium size enemies, and sometimes larger enemies. Seems to paid well with plasma, which sadly I don’t have a legendary weapon for.. The focused fire type seems to have a really unforgiving aim requirement, and doesn’t hit too hard, but the ammo’s cheap and it looks epic, so I’ll use it to clear out settlements sometimes.

Interesting, didn't try it wirh Critical Boost yet. First impressions was that the weapon was lacking, but over time it grew on me, definitelly an interesting experience!

I had the same first impressions, but I think it’s because I expected the gun to be a one-hit KO type of weapon, which isn’t the case. It’s still pretty great!

i can attest to this 🙂 just have any giant or jumping machine pinned down with the ropecaster, brittle them, and let 'em have it with the specter gauntlet railgun mode 🙂 and im playing on UH 🙂

That damage is actually looking pretty low. What difficulty is that on? Sharpshot bow can do multiple times that amount per shot without a valor surge.😅

I must be using it wrong, I shot at a Burrower multiple times with it and still had to finish it off with critical strike.

How did you get the multiple hits from just one shot? I've had the same effect happen during combat, but could never fully figure out how it happened. Can you explain how to do it myself?

It appears to be damage cascading downwards from the impact site, so aiming higher up on the machine, and not on its head/tail seems to do the trick

Noxious, this question is irrelevant to a video but how do you spawn 2 fire claws in the same area like you did before? Cos I wanna make lots of bosses fight each other

You have to complete Talanah’s mission first at the Rot, then the fireclaw will spawn just north of the Fireclaw site with the watchers. (It’s not consistent though)

It seems to be a sort of cascading splash damage. I notice it hit more when I aim for spots higher in the machine’s body

@@unknown_2552 OK, just tried it on a level 28 slitherfang and it wasn't nearly that powerful. I got 3 hits in before it got to me and it was just 60% down. I think the 'trick' is to make sure you always hit weak points (of course) but that's hard to do consistently. (the tracking marker didn't work for the rail gun either) BTW, I wasn't seeing damage anywhere close to what you were seeing, and certainly not that 'flower' of damage numbers you got hitting that Slaterspine.

What do you mean by “the tracking marker didn’t work”? I think it’s cascading splash damage following the initial impact with the machine, so it could be that since the Slitherfang is so “thin”, that splash damage is missing. That damage is what makes it so great with Critical Boost, not necessarily the initial hit

@@unknown_2552 I meant that marking the machine(using R1) didn't help my targeting. With the normal explosive ammo, the shots all end up on the target (which is very helpful) However, with the railgun, if I didn't aim normally the shot would go wide. As the mark pulled agro, I don't see the value. Without a marker, the shot will be from steath and get a bonus. Of course, I could be using it wrong, I'm trying to learn how to use the railgun. It appears marking the machine only appears to help the 'regular' ammo. BTW, the mark shows up as a yellow circle but in your video, I see a blue circle. What is that?
