So today was crazy we did more by noon than most do in a week I fielded probably 100 phone calls, we had 20+ guys doing hand/roof work just complete controlled chaos on all levels. Check it out to see how the day went!
Please make sure you show us a video of you and the boys getting your trucks out. A monumental task no doubt...but at least you can see them easier than you could your other one that you took a chunk out of. Love this stuff
This was a great great great video the last half where you were showing the actual mountains and the beautiful blue sky. Wish I was there. Absolutely stunning. You’re doing such a fantastic job. Keep it up and stay safe.
Very cool. Started watching as soon as that first storm came through. Look forward to each one. Was hoping to see how all those 90 out of towners were doing on the roofs. That looks by far the hardest work.
Glad to see you got a clear day to try and get some more roads and driveways cleared catching up is a never ending job I'm assuming. I can't imagine how hard it is to be doing roofs. Back in the 70s and 80s I worked at amoco as a mechanic and I work 12 , 8-16 hours a day depending on the weather and customs we had, MO back then we would a lot more snow back then, now we don't see that much snow. God bless and as always be safe 👍
Wow what a lot of gentlemen brought together for snow removal from the roofs. It is great that you respect mother nature. She gives us everything we need to survive. If we look after mother nature she continue to to give back. Thank you for the behind the scenes look at what you do to run your business. Love your channel and content. Thank you very much for sharing these video's with us. ❤🇨🇦
This is the same as my hurricane work here in South Florida. The damage is so widespread that we would bring in labor from wherever for the initial cleanup and securing properties. This is better in one way, since it’s to prevent damage to the homes, the insurance companies will pay easier. Hurricane Ian was months ago and there’s barely any work being done because of the insurance companies fighting everyone. We smaller contractors get our butts kicked by clients and labor all the time, but events like this help you catch up or get some equipment you need for your regular work. The nice thing about storm surge is it goes away pretty quick here. That snow doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere anytime soon
You gents really need a huge indoor shed / machinery building. The 966 kit looks like what we used on the North Slope Oil Field. Now I feel better paying $4.89 per gallon for diesel in FL.
((( I admire you for the work you do, it's extraordinary and what more can I say....and it's good to have guys like you all bravo!...... greetings and big handshakes to the whole team and all the others from bernard de eastern France 👍👍👍👍))))
Enjoying watching your hard work from the tropics. I have a bad head cold since I been watching this snow and cold. 🤣🤣🤣 On another note this kind of work is not getting done with EV's.
@@plowbrothers365Nice, if you see him, pass on that a customer in Minnesota loves his gear. I’ve used it in Whistler, Courchevel, Val Thorens, Sun Valley and of course locally up to minus 50. I found your channel and subscribed just a week or two ago and it’s blowing up mate. Hope to visit for a boarding trip as I’ve never heard of it before your channel.
Keep up the great work love the content. Couple questions do you have a contract with the city? It seems like you’ve been clearing off public roads but I was just wondering… Also what about gray hawk and snow-something sub divisions? Now you’re sending crews out to do private homes, those have to be under contract with your company. Sounds like they just contract with you to keep their roofs clear all year? That’s just so amazing but I guess needed in your area. Thanks for all the good work, I actually look forward to watching this channel every day! What are we gonna do when It quits snowing. From San Diego…
Hey bro cool vids just found the channel and subbed. Coming up this weekend with 4WD and bfg ko2 tires that are snow rated. Any chance I will still need chains this weekend you think?
Haha! I guess if you’re not use to it that’s what happens. I’m in the mountains on the East Coast (Pennsylvania) and we deal with it from late November into April, BUT NOTHING like this! This is amazing.
Question: With the massive amounts of snow that Mammoth gets why is there new home construction going on in the winter? Do you frame in between snowstorms? Seems like you would spend more time shoveling snow at the job sites than pounding nails.
I was a lift op. at Mt.Baker that season, big year for sure. I remember hearing that Mamoth had to shut down for a week cus most of the big snow removal equipment got buried too.
Hey Boss...some input? "For Me" so hopefully nobody flames out on me... 1. Came for snow removal. Not crew briefings, office tours..etc. Just snow removal. Waiting for next storm to get the real fix. I do like equipment issues and wrenching miracles tho. Just my vote :) 2. Please stop driving and making content. It's a crime. If something happens you will automatically be found at fault because you are distracted. Not to mention cops will automatically ticket you.And it's not safe..as you yourself have said. 3. Can you start putting crew names under main characters so we can start learning who they are? Think Deadliest Catch :) Best Regards and Best Wishes for you and your crews. Stay Safe!
33:04...How many do you know who have climbed that Avi path on sleds? I know 3, maybe 4, a guy from San Diego. Racer guy,, moto and sleds. First I know of was 1993 maybe or so.
I'm a video behind.. I guess that's better than being some other kind of behind. Could y'all step on it. I'm going to need anxiety meds to mellow me out moving forward. Lol
Boss usually pays. When I bring crews to do my hurricane work, I always pay the initial days and usually include it in my costs. The workers won’t have to do it in this situation.
i'd assume the boss would pay. it was a question of figuring out how long each guy would be staying. and keeping it under the workers name in case of any issues.
I believe it’s illegal these days to make them pay for a broken shovel if they are employees..if they are working as contractors they pay for their own equipment. I would check the law on that!
@@plowbrothers365 All the Calif pavers I know are still using diesel in their dump beds. Nothing else works for shyt. And using it on shovels and lutes(rakes) ...still, since the 70s.
Exactly, "come up here and work really hard but if we gave you a piece of shit and it breaks we're going to charge you $30." That's fucked up. I run a construction business and shit breaks all the time, especially shovels. What assholes!!!
I commented the same thing. Someone commented they aren't his guys, but he is using the guy and his workers for his business and in turn profit off them. There is no excuse. I believe my comment was deleted.
Perhaps he's using that moniker because gold is a precious substance. Snow is a precious substance for skiers and boarders. Plus California needs a heavy/bountiful snowpack in the Sierras to help with their drought. And anyone involved in the removal of snow will make more money in a good snow year than a lean snow year. That's just my thoughts.
@@proudmama2400 Good point about the snow being so precious to California. The skiers/boarders certainly but also after the snow melts it'll end up growing crops, etc. for a very parched State. What I'm confused about is besides the skiers and boarders and the businesses that serve those folks, how does the massive amounts of snow produce profits.
