I downloaded strive and one of the first things I did was try out jacko. Imma be honest, when I finally get inputs to work with me, I’m gonna main her. She’s so fun to play. Placing them and making sure the bois have room to survive is a pain, but not exactly hard.

Actually, you can put 3 bois and give them commands, the bars of summoning bois and the commands are kind of separate Summoning uses the green bar and command actions uses the grey bar and the green one. Great video btw

Ok, some info on the bois is wrong. They last a long time when summoned (8sec) and hitting them shortens their remaining lifetime by half. Commands do not change their lifetime, except if they're about to be unsummoned, they'll stick around until they finish the command. When holding boi, letting go of button does not drop them, only pressing dust does. If you press any other button while holding them, you'll issue the same command, and if you hold forward and press a button you'll throw it. When u summon, it eats green bar and leaves some grey bar behind which can be used for commands. So even if you summon all 3 at once, you still have grey bar left for a command. Also, the return command is important to use whenever a minion is about to disappear because it refunds some servant guage so you can keep more consistent pressure, so it should be almost as common to use as the attack and protec commands. And also also, her grab super can be easily jumped after the animation so it really can't be used to call out blocking the way a grab normally does, instead its invincibility makes it a decent reversal and since it can hit airborne/wallsplatting/reeling opponents, it works well as a combo ender.

Another tip, pick skin 9. It doesn’t do anything for your gameplay, but Jack-O looks like a Lethal Company employee when you use it.

i just picked up strive cuz this characters hot asf, and if i lose another rps or shield parry war in melty blood i might kms, and i love this character so much, can do the same kinda antics kohaku and hisui can, its just half your button inputs are quarter circles, you do a good ass set play or combo on her and you done made like 10 circles round your dpad and getting blisters on the tip of your thumb lol. Overall fun character but below average defense and super input heavy, easy back and forward quarter circles, but like rapid cause they cancel off your normals and if you mess one up it can be very punishing, but if you got clean inputs, great block defense, and get a feel with some practice you can do some amazing and fun stuff.

Cant wait for YT to actually blow one of these up
