I found it more about how the Hunger Games became entertainment than how Snow became Snow!! Huge respect to Peter Dinklage who really stands out with Viola Davis!!

I haven’t read any of the books, but I’ve enjoyed the original films, AND Queen Jennifer Lawrence is my favorite actress of all time, hands down. 😏 However, that being said, the way “Mockingjay” was split into two parts really hurt the overall story, pacing, and emotional moments that would’ve struck a better landing with certain audiences (including me). Even director Francis Lawrence recently acknowledged that splitting “Mockingjay” into two parts was a big mistake, so that says something.

I personally really loved mockingjay part 1. It gives a nice shift of focus and shows a different aspect of the rebellion. Besides, the book itself was also structured around these two parts, so if does make sense to me 🤷‍♀️

Rachel Zegler threw almost every name in the book at Renner back in October 2019. The accusations from Zegler came after Jeremy Renner was accused by his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, of abusing drugs and alcohol, threatening to kill her, and also attempting suicide in court documents obtained by TMZ amidst a custody battle over their six year old daughter.

I really loved the movie as someone who has read the books. One thing I will say though is I completely disagree that the songs should be cut or at least some of them. The songs are so important to both the plot and characterization of both snow and Lucy gray. Especially when it comes to Lucy Gray, I would say the songs are the primary and most effective way the movie/book is able to characterize her. However, I can understand on first watch where you can’t catch all of the lyrics how they seem not as important.

all the Rachel zegler hate comes from 2021 when she dragged Jeremy renner after he abused his wife and baby, this new Snow White stuff is just a continuation of the Jeremy renner stuff, funny thing gal gadot has said the exact same things as Rachel zegler did about Snow White yet she gets no hate again

Im not watching this. I'm not going to let Hollywood ruin the beautiful memory I have of the source material Like The Witcher, and The Silmarillion, which are also some of my other favorite books, I wish I hadn't watched the show/movie adaptations. I've learned my lesson. Not taking the risk with this one, especially with someone like Zegler in it. Sometimes a beautiful book is better off remaining a beautiful book.

I don't know, it's like an Ironman 'prequel released ten years later that shows Robert Downey Jr hammering scrap metal together in his dad's garage when he was just a teenager.... Or, rather, it's like showing a young Thanos when he fights his first fist fight and we're supposed to feel sorry for him, when he turns out to be an evil killing monster in later films. This film just doesn't make any sense.

Nope. This is not turning Snow into a sympathetic villain. Some prequels are money-grabs, others are money-grabs with good storytelling. This one is the latter.
