The palm heel is my favorite hand strike! I believe firmly that striking with open hands is better than punching.

I love it so much I am a female who just started in martial arts this helps a great deal for practice.

You want to know how the Jai method is a legit method? "The get the hell out of there technique is a great technique." No fluff no filler just a simple if escape is an option escape.

My favoured and most effective go to technique with respect to transferring as much energy as possible into previous adversaries, is what we call locally around the Liverpool area as a “Kirby Kiss”. Also known as a headbutt. I can speak from experience how damaging just one can be and how quickly it can incapacitate the unfortunate recipient !! I would add the Kirby Kiss to the palm or foot heel as suggested by Michael 💥

Very nice and well explained. Another way to explain the effectiveness of the palm heel strike is how you can hit a wall very hard with a palm heel strike but can barely hit the wall without injury with a closed fist.

I saw a demo and a Navy Seal steps up and announces that he's going to demonstrate the best self-defense that's available most of the time. He says "Here it is!" and he turns to his side and sprints like Hell out of the area. He comes back and says "If the opportunity to run like Hell exists, then run like Hell!!"..

True power is knowing no matter what room you enter, you have the ability wreck 99% of everyone in it, however you have the grace and class to not even have it enter your mind! If someone threatens you or any other innocent being around you though, they'd need a body bag AND Dental records for identification of the assailant once you were finished with them... If all boys grew up with a mentor like Michael, there'd be no street crime, for there would always be someone ready and willing to do what is right when the moment calls for it...

My method of self defence is called sprinting. The faster I can run, the safer I get !
