2023 will be the last production year for the Mazda CX-9; Mazda's flagship 3-row family SUV, which is why it could be a great time to get one while you can.
Production is slated to stop in December of 2022 for the Mazda CX-9, and Mazda will be without a 3-row option for a few months until the release of two new models, targeting the luxury SUV segment. Value wise, it may not get better than the Mazda CX-9. As an outgoing model, prices are very aggressive but Mazda doesn't sacrifice standard safety or convenience features. Built around the driver, the CX-9 is fun and effortless to drive.

Why is production stopping on the CX-9? Mazda is expected to add two new SUV's to their already impressive lineup. The 2024 Mazda CX-70 (2-row) and the 2024 Mazda CX-90 (3-row), the latter being a new entry into the 3-row SUV market. ETA for each model is expected to be spring of 2023.
